Industry Pressures Fuelling Demand for Lean Skills in Turkey

    Export Cost Pressure

Turkish exporters compete on price into the EU while a weak lira raises input costs. Removing waste and shortening lead times is now essential to protect margins, and Lean is the discipline that delivers it.

    Lean training builds waste-elimination skills

    Automotive Quality Demands

OEMs and Tier suppliers must meet IATF 16949, where Lean production such as 5S, standard work, SMED and kanban is a core requirement. Plants need engineers who can run these tools to keep contracts.

Lean training builds standard-work and SMED skills

    White Goods Efficiency Race

As one of Europe's largest appliance producers, Turkey's white goods plants compete on OEE and throughput. Small efficiency gains across high-volume lines translate into major cost savings.

Lean training builds OEE and flow skills

    Lean Talent Shortage

Many factories have skilled operators but few people trained to lead value stream mapping, TPM or Kaizen. Professionals who can drive shop-floor transformation are scarce and highly valued.

Lean training makes you the person who can lead change

High Inventory and Long Lead Times

Push scheduling leaves plants carrying excess work-in-progress and finished goods. Pull systems, kanban and Just-in-Time free up cash and space while improving on-time delivery.

Lean training builds pull and kanban skills

    Equipment Downtime Losses

Unplanned breakdowns and slow changeovers erode capacity. Total Productive Maintenance and SMED help teams lift availability and cut the six big losses that drag OEE down.

Lean training builds TPM and OEE skills

Lean manufacturing is more than a set of tools. It is how Turkey's leading plants protect margins and win contracts. Join the professionals turning waste into competitive advantage. Start your Lean journey today.

    Your Turkey Manufacturing Transformation

    From Firefighting to Flow,

    Where Lean Manufacturing Takes You

Turkey's manufacturers are under pressure to cut cost, lift quality and deliver on time. Employers increasingly separate teams that can systematically remove waste from those still firefighting. Here is the shift this training helps you make.

    Today

Seen as a capable operator or engineer on your own work only

    After Lean

Recognised as someone who can lead shop-floor improvement, not just run tasks

    Today

Limited to your own station or line with little influence on flow

    After Lean

Eligible for Continuous Improvement, Lean and manufacturing management roles across Turkey

    Today

Confident in the day job, but not in leading structured change

    After Lean

Fluent in the Lean toolkit that automotive and white goods employers value

    You master Lean tools

    Before

Waste is everywhere on the line but hard to see or measure

    Now you have

A trained eye that spots the eight wastes on any production line

    Before

Improvement happens by gut feel and constant firefighting

    Now you have

A structured Kaizen method backed by VSM, 5S and OEE data

    Before

Push scheduling leaves high inventory and long lead times

    Now you have

Pull and kanban skills that cut work-in-progress and speed up delivery

    Before

Equipment stops and slow changeovers eat into capacity

    Now you have

TPM and SMED tools to lift availability and reduce the six big losses

"The gap between running a busy line and running a lean one is a set of tools you can learn, and the plants that compete already know it."

    General

    What is Lean Manufacturing Training?

Lean Manufacturing Training is a practical, one-day skills course that teaches you to eliminate waste and improve production flow using the Toyota Production System. You learn the five Lean principles, the eight wastes, value stream mapping, 5S, kanban, TPM and Kaizen. It is a non-certification course with no exam.

Who should attend this training in Turkey?

It suits production and manufacturing managers, manufacturing and industrial engineers, supervisors, team leaders, quality engineers, maintenance staff and Lean coordinators. Anyone working in Turkey's automotive, white goods or wider industry who wants to apply Lean will benefit.

Is Lean Manufacturing Training worth it?

Yes. Lean skills are in strong demand across Turkey's manufacturing base as exporters face cost and quality pressure. You leave able to cut lead time, inventory and defects, which makes you more valuable in engineering, supervisory and improvement roles.

Do I need prior Lean experience?

No. The course introduces Lean from first principles, so no prior Lean knowledge is required. Some manufacturing or production experience is helpful but not essential. The training is suitable for professionals at every level.

What is the Toyota Production System?

The Toyota Production System (TPS) is the origin of Lean manufacturing, developed by Taiichi Ohno and Shigeo Shingo at Toyota. Its two pillars are Just-in-Time and Jidoka (built-in quality). The training grounds every Lean tool in TPS thinking.

    Assessment & Certificate

Is there an exam for this course?

No. Lean Manufacturing Training is a non-certification course with no exam. Learning is reinforced through hands-on exercises, manufacturing case examples and team discussion rather than a formal test.

    Do I get a certificate?

You receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning after completing the one-day programme. It confirms your attendance and the skills covered; it is not a formal certification from an external awarding body.

    Is Lean manufacturing a certification?

No. Lean manufacturing is a methodology, not a certification, and this course has no governing body or exam. It builds practical, immediately applicable skills grounded in the Toyota Production System.

    How is my learning assessed?

There is no formal assessment. Throughout the day you apply Lean tools in exercises such as waste identification, VSM, 5S and OEE calculation, which lets you and the trainer confirm your understanding in a practical way.

Do the skills expire or need renewal?

No. The skills you learn do not expire and need no renewal. Lean tools such as 5S, VSM and Kaizen are immediately applicable and stay valuable throughout your career.
