    What is the format of the Green Belt exam?

    The exam is closed book, with 100 questions in multiple-choice and true or false formats, taken over an allotted three hours. It can be sat through online proctoring around the clock or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

    What is the passing score for the exam?

    You need a minimum of 385 points out of 550 to pass. Questions are spread roughly evenly across the five DMAIC phases, so broad mastery across Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control matters most.

    How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

    There are 100 questions and an allotted time of three hours. Some exam forms may include up to 10 additional unscored questions that do not count towards your result.
