PRINCE2 (PRojects IN Controlled Environments) is a structured, scalable project management method covering seven principles, the People element, seven practices and seven processes. This course covers the current PRINCE2 7th Edition (2023), published by PeopleCert and AXELOS.

    General

What is PRINCE2 and which edition does the course cover?

PRINCE2 (PRojects IN Controlled Environments) is a structured, scalable project management method covering seven principles, the People element, seven practices and seven processes. This course covers the current PRINCE2 7th Edition (2023), published by PeopleCert and AXELOS.

Who is the PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner course for?

It suits aspiring and practising project managers, team members in PRINCE2 environments, and PMP or CAPM holders working with Taiwanese and multinational employers. Foundation needs no prior experience, whilst Practitioner builds applied, tailoring skills.

    Is PRINCE2 recognised in Taiwan?

Yes. PRINCE2 is a globally recognised qualification valued by employers across Taiwan's semiconductor, electronics, IT services, banking and telecom sectors, and by multinationals operating in the region. Over one million PRINCE2 certificates have been issued worldwide.

Is PRINCE2 worth it for my career in Taiwan?

Yes. Certified project managers in Taiwan earn around NT$1.7M a year on average, rising past NT$3M for programme leaders, and PRINCE2 opens roles from project manager to PMO manager. Talk to a learning advisor to map your path.

How long is the PRINCE2 certification valid?

Both PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner are valid for three years. Foundation is renewed by earning 60 CPD points per cycle. Practitioner is renewed by re-sitting the exam, completing CPD via a MyAxelos subscription, or passing a higher PRINCE2 qualification.

    Pricing

What is included in the PRINCE2 course fee?

The fee covers instructor-led training across both levels, accredited courseware, practice questions, mock exams and exam preparation support. Dual exam vouchers are typically bundled through the accredited package. Request a quote for the current inclusions.

How much does PRINCE2 training cost in Taiwan?

Pricing varies by format and batch, so instructor-led PRINCE2 training in Taiwan is quoted on request in local currency. Ask about upcoming batches and group rates for the best value.

Is the exam fee included in the price?

Exam vouchers are usually bundled in the accredited training and exam package. PeopleCert sets exam fees by region, so confirm the current Foundation and Practitioner exam fees when you enrol.

Do you offer corporate or group discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with tailored schedules and volume-based pricing for teams across Taiwan. Contact us for a group quote that fits your headcount.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

How is the PRINCE2 Foundation exam structured?

The Foundation exam has 60 multiple-choice questions to be completed in 60 minutes. It is closed book with a 60% pass mark (36 of 60 correct) and tests your knowledge of PRINCE2 7 principles, practices and processes.

How is the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam structured?

The Practitioner exam has 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks, over 150 minutes. It is open book with the PRINCE2 manual permitted, scenario based, and requires 60% (42 of 70 marks) to pass.

What are the prerequisites for each exam?

PRINCE2 Foundation has no prerequisites. Practitioner requires PRINCE2 Foundation or an accepted equivalent such as PMP, CAPM or IPMA Level A to D. Verify current equivalents with PeopleCert before booking.

Where can I take the PRINCE2 exams?

Both exams are delivered online through PeopleCert's proctored system, available 24/7, or at authorised test centres. They are usually arranged as part of your combined training and dual exam package.

What if I do not pass the first time?

You can re-sit the exam under PeopleCert's re-sit policy, and selected training plans include retake support to help you prepare. Ask about our exam preparation and Flexi options when you enrol.

    Course Content

What will I learn in the PRINCE2 course?

You will learn the seven PRINCE2 principles, the People element, all seven practices (Business Case, Organizing, Plans, Quality, Risk, Issues, Progress) and all seven processes, plus how to tailor PRINCE2 to real projects.

Do I need prior experience to start?

No. The programme is beginner friendly at Foundation level and needs no prior project experience. Practitioner then builds applied, tailoring skills, so the combined course takes you from fundamentals to confident practice.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions, full-length mock exams and topic-wise quizzes mapped to both exam formats, helping you find weak areas and build readiness for Foundation and Practitioner.

Is the courseware aligned to the latest syllabus?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the PRINCE2 7 Foundation and Practitioner syllabus and the PRINCE2 Managing Successful Projects manual, 7th Edition (2023), published by PeopleCert and AXELOS.

    How is the training delivered?

Training is delivered as online live virtual instructor-led sessions and classroom formats, typically over a four-day combined programme covering Foundation and Practitioner, with all courseware and resources provided.

    Enrollment

How do I enrol in the PRINCE2 course?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format and batch, complete payment, and you will receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. Talk to an advisor to pick a batch.

    What training formats are available?

We offer online live virtual instructor-led training, classroom training, self-paced e-learning and customised corporate group training across Taiwan, so you can choose the format that fits your schedule.

    How soon can I start?

New batches run regularly for professionals in Taiwan. Once you enrol you receive immediate access to resources and your schedule. See upcoming batches or ask an advisor for the next available cohort.

Can I reschedule or transfer my enrolment?

Yes. Flexi options let you reschedule or transfer to another batch, and selected plans let you attend the training twice. Contact support to arrange this.

What is the refund or cancellation policy?

Refunds and cancellations follow our published policy, and selected plans include a money-back guarantee. Reach out to our team for the details that apply to your enrolment.
