    Is the CAPM worth it for professionals in Uganda?

    Yes. CAPM is a globally recognised PMI credential valued by Uganda's oil and gas, telecom, banking, IT and development employers. It helps early-career professionals stand out for coordinator and officer roles and lays the groundwork for the PMP later.

    Do I need work experience to take the CAPM?

    No. CAPM is the only PMI credential that requires no project work experience. You need a secondary school qualification (or global equivalent) and 23 hours of project management education, which this course provides in full.

    Is the CAPM recognised internationally?

    Yes. As a PMI credential, CAPM is recognised in over 200 countries. Employers across Uganda and worldwide accept it as a credible signal of project management knowledge and commitment to the profession.

    How long is the CAPM valid and how do I renew it?

    CAPM is valid for three years. Unlike the PMP, you renew it by retaking and passing the CAPM exam within the cycle rather than by earning PDUs.

    How much does CAPM training cost in Uganda?

    CAPM training fees vary by format, so pricing is available on request. The PMI exam fee is billed separately by PMI in USD under regional pricing and is not part of the training fee. Request a quote for current batches.

    What is included in the CAPM course fee?

    The fee includes PMI-aligned courseware, 24 hours of instructor-led training that meets the CAPM education requirement, practice questions, mock exams and learner support, plus a course completion certificate.

    How much is the CAPM exam fee?

    PMI bills the CAPM exam in USD under regional pricing, and PMI membership reduces the fee. Confirm the current member and non-member amounts on pmi.org before you apply.

    What does the CAPM exam cover?

    The CAPM exam covers four domains from the 2023 Examination Content Outline: Project Management Fundamentals and Core Concepts, Predictive Plan-Based Methodologies, Agile Frameworks/Methodologies, and Business Analysis Frameworks. It is aligned to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition.

    How many questions are on the CAPM exam and how long is it?

    The CAPM exam has 150 multiple-choice questions and lasts three hours (180 minutes). It is closed book, with single-answer and multiple-answer question formats.

    Where can I take the CAPM exam?

    You can sit the CAPM exam online through Pearson VUE OnVUE proctoring from home or office, or at a Pearson VUE test centre. Scheduling is done via PMI's portal once your application is approved.

    Is there a fixed passing score for the CAPM?

    No. PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score rather than a fixed percentage. Results are reported as pass or fail with performance feedback across the four CAPM domains, so aim for broad mastery.

    How many attempts do I get for the CAPM exam?

    You may take up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period from application approval. Our practice tests and trainer guidance help you prepare to pass with confidence.

    Can a complete beginner take this CAPM course?

    Yes. CAPM and this course are designed for beginners with no project experience. Trainers build your knowledge from the fundamentals through agile, predictive and business analysis topics, with hands-on practice throughout.

    What will I learn in the CAPM training?

    You will learn the four CAPM domains: project management fundamentals, predictive plan-based methods, agile and hybrid frameworks, and business analysis, plus stakeholder engagement and exam strategy.

    Which standard is the course aligned to?

    The course is aligned to the CAPM Examination Content Outline effective 2023, the PMBOK Guide Eighth Edition and the Agile Practice Guide, so your learning matches the current exam.

    Are practice tests and materials included?

    Yes. You receive PMI-aligned courseware, practice questions, full mock exams and topic quizzes mapped to the CAPM outline to identify weak areas and build readiness.
