Will I receive a certificate?

Yes. You receive a Course Completion Certificate from Invensis Learning after completing the training. This recognises your participation and the practical skills you built; it is not an external certification or credential.

How is my learning assessed?

There is no formal assessment. You apply each Azure DevOps service as you go, building pipelines, infrastructure as code and monitoring in practical exercises, so you leave able to use the tools rather than just recall theory.

What will I be able to do after the course?

You will be able to build CI/CD pipelines in Azure Pipelines, manage repositories in Azure Repos, deploy to Azure App Service and AKS, write Bicep templates, set up Azure Monitor and integrate DevSecOps practices into your delivery.

Does this course lead to a Microsoft certification?

No. This is a practical skills course, not exam preparation, and it does not award a Microsoft credential. It builds hands-on Azure DevOps capability you can apply at work straight away.

Course Content

What topics does the Azure DevOps course cover?

The course spans six modules: DevOps and the Azure ecosystem, source control and CI, continuous delivery, Agile planning and infrastructure as code, containers and monitoring, and DevSecOps with test management and continuous improvement.

Which Azure tools will I learn?

You work with the five Azure DevOps services (Azure Repos, Pipelines, Boards, Artifacts and Test Plans) plus ARM templates and Bicep, Azure Container Registry, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Monitor, Application Insights and Microsoft Defender for DevOps.

Are there hands-on exercises?

Yes. Practical exercises run throughout the day using the live Azure portal and CLI. You build a repository with branch policies, write a YAML pipeline, deploy a Bicep template and set up monitoring, among other tasks.

How long is the training?

The programme runs for one day (8 hours), or across two half-days totalling 8 hours, covering all six Azure DevOps modules with hands-on exercises throughout.

Do I need my own Azure account?

You should have access to an Azure subscription and an Azure DevOps organisation before the training; a free tier is available at dev.azure.com for up to five users. Check whether a shared environment is provided when you enrol.
