What topics does the Azure DevOps training cover?

The course covers DevOps principles and the Azure DevOps ecosystem, source control and CI with Azure Repos and Pipelines, continuous delivery, agile planning with Azure Boards, infrastructure as code with ARM and Bicep, containers with ACR and AKS, and DevSecOps and monitoring.

You will work with Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, Azure Boards, Azure Artifacts and Azure Test Plans, plus ARM templates, Bicep, Azure Container Registry, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Monitor, Application Insights and Microsoft Defender for DevOps.

Are there hands-on exercises?

Yes. Hands-on exercises run throughout the day. You create repositories with branch policies, write and run YAML pipelines, deploy infrastructure with Bicep, deploy containers to AKS, and set up Azure Monitor alerts and dashboards.

Do I need my own Azure account?

Participants should have access to an Azure subscription and an Azure DevOps organisation, with a free tier available at dev.azure.com. Please confirm whether a shared training environment is provided when you register.
