How to Get Agile PM Certified in BermudaStep-by-Step Certification Process

The path to Online Agile PM certification follows a structured two-exam route. There are no prerequisites for the Foundation examination. After completing the combined Foundation and Practitioner training, candidates progress through both certification exams to demonstrate their knowledge of Agile Project Management principles and practices. Most learners complete the process within 1 to 2 weeks after training.

Step 1: Complete the Agile PM Foundation and Practitioner Training

Enrol in the Invensis Learning Agile PM Foundation and Practitioner Certification training in Bermuda (5-Day Live Online Bootcamp, E-Learning, or Corporate Group Training). The integrated programme covers the Agile PM lifecycle, roles and responsibilities, project control, requirements, estimating, and risk management.

Step 2: Sit the Agile PM Foundation Exam

Take the Foundation exam: 50 multiple-choice questions, 40 minutes, 50% pass mark (25 of 50), closed book. Delivered online proctored from your home or office in Bermuda, or at an approved test centre.

Step 3: Earn the Agile PM Foundation Credential

On passing the Foundation exam, your Agile PM Foundation certificate is issued. The Foundation credential validates your knowledge of Agile project management fundamentals.

Step 4: Sit the Agile PM Practitioner Exam

Take the Practitioner exam: 4 objective-test questions, 2.5 hours, 50% pass mark (40 of 80 points), open book to the official Agile PM manual. The Practitioner exam is scenario-based and tests applied knowledge in realistic project contexts.

Step 5: Activate Your Agile PM Foundation and Practitioner Credentials

On passing both exams, you earn both the Agile PM Foundation and Practitioner certificates. The Foundation credential is lifetime valid; the Practitioner credential typically has a 5-year validity, renewable via continuing professional development (CPD) or re-examination.

Step 6: Maintain Your Practitioner Credential

Maintain your Agile PM Practitioner credential by earning CPD points each year or by re-sitting the Practitioner exam before the 5-year validity expires. Foundation does not require renewal.

    General

What is the AgilePM Foundation and Practitioner certification?

AgilePM Foundation and Practitioner is a two-level agile project management credential based on the DSDM framework and governed by the Agile Business Consortium, formerly the DSDM Consortium. Foundation validates your knowledge of the framework, while Practitioner proves you can apply and tailor it on real projects.

Who should take the AgilePM course in Bermuda?

The course suits project managers, delivery leads, business analysts, testers and team members who work on agile projects, plus PRINCE2, Scrum or PMI credential holders adding a governed agile framework. In Bermuda it is especially relevant to insurance, reinsurance, banking and fintech professionals.

    Is AgilePM recognised in Bermuda?

Yes. AgilePM is recognised in more than 150 countries and is valued by Bermuda's regulated employers, including insurers, reinsurers, banks and fintech firms that need iterative delivery inside a clear governance structure.

Why choose Invensis Learning for AgilePM training in Bermuda?

Invensis Learning offers experienced AgilePM-qualified trainers, syllabus-aligned courseware for both levels, flexible live virtual, classroom and corporate delivery, and mock exams for both examinations, helping you move from learning to two credentials with a clear, supported path.

How does AgilePM compare to Scrum and PRINCE2?

Scrum is a team-level delivery framework, and PRINCE2 is a predictive project method. AgilePM sits between them as a project-level agile governance framework covering the full lifecycle from strategic alignment to benefit realisation. It complements both rather than replacing them.

Who owns and governs the AgilePM framework?

The DSDM-based AgilePM framework is owned and published by the Agile Business Consortium, formerly the DSDM Consortium. The course is aligned to the current edition of the AgilePM Handbook and the current Foundation and Practitioner exam syllabi.

    Pricing

How much does AgilePM training cost in Bermuda?

Fees depend on the delivery format you choose and are quoted in local currency (BD$), so the latest pricing is available on request. The combined package typically bundles training with both exam vouchers. Request a quote to see current schedules and options.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee typically includes AgilePM-aligned courseware for both levels, industry case studies, mock exams and practice questions, first-attempt exam guidance, and learner support. Confirm the exact inclusions for your chosen format when you enrol.

Are the two exam fees included in the training price?

The combined programme leads to two separate exams, and packages commonly include both Foundation and Practitioner exam vouchers. Because inclusions vary by format, confirm whether the exam fees are bundled when you request your quote.

Do you offer corporate or group discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for PMOs, delivery teams and business units across Bermuda. Contact us for a tailored group quote.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the AgilePM Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam has 50 multiple-choice questions, lasts 40 minutes and is closed book. The pass mark is 50%, which is 25 out of 50 correct. It is usually taken at the end of the Foundation portion of the training.

What is the format of the AgilePM Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam is open book, using the AgilePM Handbook. It has 4 scenario-based questions worth 15 marks each, 60 marks in total, and runs for 2 hours. The pass mark is 50%, which is 30 out of 60 marks.

How many exams are in the combined programme?

There are two separate exams. You must sit and pass both the Foundation exam and the Practitioner exam to hold both credentials. The combined course prepares you for each in one programme.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

You may use the AgilePM Handbook during the Practitioner exam. However, the scenario-based questions require analysis and judgment, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient handbook navigation and deep method knowledge are both essential.

What happens if I do not pass an exam first time?

You can resit the exam that you did not pass. The course includes mock exams, practice questions and first-attempt guidance to help you prepare thoroughly. Contact our team for current resit policies and support options.

What standard are the AgilePM exams based on?

Both exams are based on the current Foundation and Practitioner exam syllabi and the current edition of the AgilePM Handbook, published by the Agile Business Consortium. The courseware is kept aligned to these current versions.

    Course Content

What will I learn in the AgilePM course?

You will learn to plan, govern and deliver agile projects end to end: the eight AgilePM principles, the six-phase lifecycle and management products, the business, technical and management roles, MoSCoW prioritisation, timeboxing, and how to tailor the framework to real projects.

What are the eight AgilePM principles?

They are: focus on the business need; deliver on time; collaborate; never compromise quality; build incrementally from firm foundations; develop iteratively; communicate continuously and clearly; and demonstrate control. The course applies each one to project decisions.

Do I need experience or prerequisites to take the course?

AgilePM Foundation has no formal prerequisites and is open to all. To sit the Practitioner exam you need the AgilePM Foundation certification or an accepted equivalent, which the combined programme is designed to give you first.

What is MoSCoW prioritisation in AgilePM?

MoSCoW stands for Must have, Should have, Could have and Won't have this time. AgilePM uses it to fix time and cost while flexing scope, guaranteeing on-time delivery by ensuring all Must Haves, most Should Haves and as many Could Haves as time allows are delivered.

Are practice exams and materials included?

Yes. The programme includes AgilePM-aligned courseware, industry case studies, mock exams and practice questions for both the Foundation and Practitioner levels, so you can identify weak areas and build readiness for each exam.

How do I enrol in the AgilePM course in Bermuda?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you will receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. See upcoming batches or talk to a learning advisor to get started.
