Is there an exam for this course?

No. Lean Project Management training is a non-certification course with no examination. Learning is reinforced through industry-driven case studies, real-world project case studies, interactive exercises and retrospective sessions during the programme.

Will I receive a certificate after the training?

Yes. On completing the programme you receive a certificate of completion from Invensis Learning, confirming your participation and the Lean skills you have learned.

How is my learning assessed?

What will I learn in this course?

You will learn Lean principles and how to apply them to projects: identifying and eliminating waste, value stream mapping, Kanban, 5S, Poka-Yoke, PDCA, A3 thinking and DMAIC, plus Lean planning, execution, leadership and delivery management.

What topics does the syllabus cover?

The syllabus spans 11 modules, from an introduction to Lean Project Management through waste elimination, value stream mapping, continuous improvement, Lean tools, planning and execution, problem solving, leadership, managing delivery and real-world case studies.

How long is the training?

The course runs over two days (16 hours), covering the full 11-module syllabus with case studies and interactive exercises. It can also be delivered as four half-days, depending on the schedule.

Is the course hands-on?

Yes. The programme is interactive and instructor-led, using industry-driven case studies, real-world project examples, exercises and retrospective sessions so you practise applying each Lean tool.

Can beginners take this course?

Yes. The course is foundation level and beginner friendly. It covers Lean principles from first principles, so no prior Lean or project management experience is required.
