What topics does the course cover?

The course covers six modules: DevOps and the AWS ecosystem; source control and CI with CodeCommit and CodeBuild; continuous delivery with CodeDeploy and CodePipeline; infrastructure as code with CloudFormation and the CDK; containers with ECS and EKS; and monitoring, DevSecOps and continuous improvement.

Which AWS tools will I learn?

You work with AWS CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy and CodePipeline for CI/CD, CloudFormation and the AWS CDK for infrastructure as code, Amazon ECS and EKS for containers, and Amazon CloudWatch for monitoring and observability.

Are there hands-on exercises?

Yes. Hands-on AWS exercises run throughout the day. You create a repository, build a pipeline, deploy a CloudFormation stack, deploy a containerised application and set up CloudWatch alarms and dashboards.

Does the course cover DevSecOps?

Yes. You learn to shift security left by integrating scanning, IAM least privilege and secrets management into the pipeline, and to monitor compliance across your AWS resources.

Do I need my own AWS account?

You should have access to an AWS account, free tier or paid, during the training. Confirm with Invensis Learning whether a shared training environment is provided when you enrol.
