Is the CAPM recognised internationally?

Yes. As a PMI credential, CAPM is recognised by employers in over 200 countries. It signals a credible understanding of project management fundamentals and a commitment to the profession.

How long is the CAPM certification valid?

CAPM is valid for three years. To keep it active, you retake and pass the CAPM exam within the three-year cycle. Unlike PMP, CAPM renewal does not use PDUs.

How much does CAPM training cost in Colombia?

The CAPM exam covers four domains from the exam content outline effective 2023: Project Management Fundamentals and Core Concepts (36%), Predictive Plan-Based Methodologies (17%), Agile Frameworks/Methodologies (20%) and Business Analysis Frameworks (27%).

How many questions are on the CAPM exam and how long is it?

The CAPM exam has 150 questions and lasts three hours (180 minutes). It is closed book with multiple-choice questions, delivered via Pearson VUE OnVUE online proctoring or at a test centre.

Is there a fixed passing score for the CAPM exam?

PMI does not publish a fixed pass mark. Your result is set through psychometric analysis and reported as pass or fail with performance feedback across the four CAPM domains, so aim for broad mastery.

How many attempts do I get for the CAPM exam?

You get up to three attempts within the one-year eligibility period that begins when PMI approves your application. Reexamination fees apply to later attempts.
