    General

Is the PMI-RMP worth it for professionals in Israel?

Yes. The PMI-RMP is a globally recognised specialist credential that sets you apart in Israel's high-tech, defence, banking and infrastructure sectors, where formal project risk management is increasingly expected. Certified risk professionals command strong salaries and are in demand as employers formalise risk governance.

What is the PMI-RMP certification and who is it for?

The PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) is PMI's specialist credential in project risk management. It is designed for risk managers, senior project managers, PMO analysts, risk consultants and professionals in high-risk industries who identify, assess, respond to and monitor project risk.

Why choose Invensis Learning for PMI-RMP training in Israel?

Invensis Learning is a PMI Authorized Training Partner offering PMI-aligned courseware, accredited trainers, flexible online and classroom delivery, and dedicated support for your PMI application, helping you move from study to certified with a clear path.

Is a PMP required before the PMI-RMP?

No. PMP certification is not a prerequisite for the PMI-RMP. You can apply directly based on your project risk management experience and education, though many holders also carry the PMP because the two credentials are highly complementary.

How long is the PMI-RMP certification valid?

The PMI-RMP is valid for three years. To maintain it, you earn 30 PDUs in risk management topics within each three-year cycle through PMI's Continuing Certification Requirements system.

    Exam

What is the format of the PMI-RMP exam?

The PMI-RMP exam is closed book with multiple-choice questions in single-answer and multiple-answer formats. It is based on the PMI-RMP Examination Content Outline effective January 2022 and delivered via Pearson VUE online proctoring or at a test centre.

How many questions are on the PMI-RMP exam and how long is it?

The exam has 115 questions and a duration of 2.5 hours (150 minutes). The questions are distributed across the five risk management domains defined in the current ECO.

What are the PMI-RMP exam domains and their weights?

The five domains in the January 2022 ECO are Risk Strategy and Planning (20%), Risk Identification (20%), Risk Analysis (23%), Risk Response (22%) and Monitor and Close Risks (15%).

What if I do not pass the PMI-RMP on the first attempt?

PMI allows up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period. Our training includes mock exams and revision support to prepare you thoroughly, and re-examination fees apply to later attempts; confirm current amounts at pmi.org.

What are the eligibility requirements for the PMI-RMP?

You must meet one of three sets: a secondary diploma with 36 months of project risk experience and 40 hours of risk education; or a four-year degree with 24 months of experience and 30 hours of education; or a GAC-accredited degree with 12 months of experience and 30 hours of education, all within the last five years.

    Course Content

What will I learn in the PMI-RMP training?

You learn end-to-end project risk management across the five ECO domains: risk strategy and planning, identification, qualitative and quantitative analysis, response planning, and monitoring and closing risks, applied to predictive, agile and hybrid projects.

Which risk analysis techniques does the course cover?

The programme covers qualitative tools such as the probability and impact matrix and risk scoring, and quantitative tools such as Monte Carlo simulation, decision-tree analysis, sensitivity analysis and expected monetary value, alongside risk identification methods like SWOT and the Delphi technique.

Does this training meet the PMI-RMP education requirement?

The 32-hour instructor-led programme fully satisfies the 30-hour risk education requirement for degree-holding (Set B) and GAC-accredited (Set C) candidates. Set A candidates with a secondary diploma need 40 hours and should add supplementary risk education.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions, full-length mock exams and topic-wise quizzes mapped to the 115-question PMI format, helping you identify weak areas and build exam readiness.

Is the courseware aligned to the current PMI-RMP standard?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the PMI-RMP Examination Content Outline effective January 2022 and the PMI Practice Standard for Project Risk Management.
