What is the CAPM certification and who is it for?

Is CAPM worth it for someone starting out in Amman?

Yes. CAPM is an affordable, recognised way to enter project management and stand out for coordinator and junior project roles across Amman's technology, banking and development sectors. It also gives you a credible first step toward the PMP as your experience grows.

Do I need project experience to take CAPM?

No. CAPM is the only PMI practitioner credential that requires no project work experience. You need a secondary degree (high school diploma or global equivalent) and 23 hours of project management education, which this training provides.

Is CAPM recognised in Jordan and internationally?

Yes. As a PMI credential, CAPM is recognised by employers in Jordan and across PMI's network in more than 200 countries. It signals to hiring managers that you understand project management fundamentals and are committed to the profession.

How is CAPM different from the PMP?

CAPM is entry level and needs only 23 hours of education and no work experience. The PMP is an advanced credential that requires months of experience leading projects plus 35 hours of education. CAPM is the natural first PMI credential on the way to PMP.

Pricing

How much does CAPM training cost in Amman?

Training fees vary by format and are available on request. The PMI exam fee is billed separately by PMI in USD under regional pricing and is not part of the training price. Contact a learning advisor for a quote that fits your plan.

What is included in the CAPM course fee?

The fee typically includes courseware aligned to the CAPM exam outline and the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition, practice questions, mock exams, guidance on the PMI application, learner support and a course completion certificate covering your 24 hours of education.

Is the PMI exam fee included in the training price?

No. PMI bills the CAPM exam fee separately in USD. PMI members pay a lower exam fee than non-members, and membership also gives free access to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition and Agile Practice Guide. Verify current fees at pmi.org.

Do you offer group or corporate pricing?

What does the CAPM exam cover?

The exam covers four domains from the CAPM Examination Content Outline effective 2023: Project Management Fundamentals and Core Concepts (36%), Predictive Plan-Based Methodologies (17%), Agile Frameworks and Methodologies (20%) and Business Analysis Frameworks (27%).

How many questions are on the CAPM exam and how long is it?

The CAPM exam has 150 multiple-choice questions and you have 3 hours (180 minutes) to complete it. It is closed book and uses single-answer and multiple-answer question formats, based on the CAPM ECO effective 2023.

Is there a fixed passing score for CAPM?

No. PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score rather than a fixed percentage. Results are reported as pass or fail with performance feedback across the four CAPM domains, so aim for broad mastery of all four rather than a target number.

How and where do I take the CAPM exam?

You can sit the exam online through Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctored system from home or office, or at a Pearson VUE test centre. Scheduling is done through Pearson VUE or the PMI portal once your application is approved.

What if I do not pass the CAPM exam the first time?

You get up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period from application approval. Our mock exams and practice questions are designed to help you pass on the first attempt, and re-examination fees apply to later attempts.

Can a complete beginner take this CAPM course?

Yes. CAPM is designed for beginners, so no prior project management experience is needed. The training starts with core concepts and builds up through predictive, agile and hybrid delivery, with practice and support throughout.

What will I learn in the CAPM training?

You will learn project fundamentals, predictive plan-based delivery, agile frameworks and hybrid approaches, and business analysis frameworks. These map to the four CAPM exam domains and cover the terminology, tools and processes employers expect.

Which standard and edition is the course based on?

The course is aligned to the CAPM Examination Content Outline effective 2023 and the PMBOK Guide Eighth Edition, along with the Agile Practice Guide. This is the current basis for the CAPM exam, so your preparation matches what is tested.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions and full-length mock exams in the 150-question, 3-hour CAPM format, plus topic-wise quizzes to help you find weak areas and build exam readiness.

Does this training meet the 23-hour education requirement?

Yes. This 24-hour programme exceeds the 23 hours of project management education PMI requires, fully satisfying the CAPM education prerequisite. You receive a completion certificate documenting the hours for your PMI application.

What are the steps to get CAPM certified?

Complete the 24-hour training, submit your PMI application documenting your education, pay the exam fee and schedule through Pearson VUE, then sit and pass the 150-question exam. Our team can guide you through the application and booking steps.

How long is CAPM valid and how do I renew it?

CAPM is valid for three years. Unlike the PMP, you renew CAPM by retaking and passing the exam within the three-year cycle rather than by earning PDUs. There is no PDU requirement for CAPM renewal.

Can I reschedule or transfer my enrolment to another batch?
