What You Gain from BPM TrainingSkills That Deliver Results at Work

    For Individuals

    For Individuals

BPM training helps you move from doing the work to improving how the work flows. You leave able to model current-state processes, analyse them for waste and risk, and design better ways of working that cut cost and improve quality. Whether you are a business analyst formalising your modelling method, a process owner accountable for performance, or an operations or IT professional supporting change, the training gives you a practical toolkit you can use across finance, logistics, healthcare, government and technology.

If you want to be the person who fixes broken processes rather than the one who works around them, this programme is a clear step forward. You gain the BPMN modelling, analysis and redesign skills Dutch employers increasingly expect from anyone responsible for how work gets done.

    • Map and document any business process clearly using BPMN 2.0 notation
    • Spot waste, bottlenecks and handoff gaps through structured process analysis
    • Redesign workflows with simplification, standardisation and automation principles
    • Define process KPIs such as lead time, cycle time and first-pass yield
    • Take ownership of an end-to-end process with real governance skills
    • Speak a shared process language with IT, operations and quality colleagues
    • Lay the process groundwork for automation and digital transformation projects
    • Apply your learning immediately, with no exam to sit and skills that never expire
    For Organizations

    For Organizations

BPM group training equips cross-functional teams with a common method for modelling, analysing and improving the processes that matter most. It works well for process owners, operations, IT and quality teams that need to standardise how they manage work. For organisations connecting delivery to strategy or preparing for automation and digital transformation, this training provides a scalable, practical foundation.

If your teams document processes inconsistently or struggle to improve them, corporate BPM training creates one shared approach. Teams learn to model in BPMN 2.0, analyse for waste, redesign for value and measure performance, using your own real processes during the session.

    • Builds a shared process language across teams and functions
    • Standardises how processes are documented, analysed and improved
    • Reduces cost and rework by removing waste from core workflows
    • Prepares processes for automation, RPA and system implementation
    • Strengthens compliance and auditability through clear process documentation
    • Embeds continuous improvement as an ongoing team discipline
    • Delivers immediate value when teams model their own live processes
    • Scales through flexible virtual, onsite and blended delivery

Where BPM Skills Take Careers in the NetherlandsRoles, Sectors, Demand

Process skills are in steady demand across the Netherlands, from Amsterdam and Rotterdam banks to the logistics corridors around the ports and Schiphol. As Dutch organisations invest in digital transformation, e-invoicing and automation, they need people who can model, analyse and improve processes before technology is layered on top, and BPM training builds exactly those skills. Roles range from business analyst and business process manager to process improvement and operational excellence manager, and here is what the market is telling us right now.

Process Challenges Driving BPM Demand in the Netherlands

    Automate-Before-Fixing Trap

Dutch firms are pouring investment into RPA and automation, but automating a broken or undocumented process just makes bad work faster. BPM teaches you to model and improve first, so automation delivers real value.

BPM builds process analysis and redesign skills

    E-Invoicing and Compliance Pressure

Mandatory e-invoicing and tightening EU regulation require standardised, auditable processes. Organisations need people who can document and control workflows to meet compliance without slowing the business down.

    BPM builds process standardisation skills

    Logistics and Supply Chain Complexity

As one of Europe's logistics hubs, the Netherlands runs vast, interdependent supply chain processes. Coordinating them end to end demands process mapping, KPI measurement and bottleneck analysis that BPM directly develops.

BPM builds end-to-end process coordination skills

    Inconsistent Process Documentation

Many organisations rely on tribal knowledge and outdated procedures, leaving processes person-dependent and fragile. BPMN 2.0 modelling skills make processes visible, consistent and improvable across every function.

BPM builds BPMN 2.0 modelling skills

    Strategy-To-Execution Value Leakage

Boards approve transformation programmes, but weak links between strategy and daily processes cause cost and value to leak. BPM practitioners connect operational processes to outcomes leaders actually want.

BPM builds prioritisation and value-tracking skills

    Scarce Process Improvement Talent

There are plenty of functional specialists, but far fewer people who can manage an end-to-end process and improve it methodically. That scarcity makes practical BPM capability a genuine differentiator in the Dutch market.

BPM makes your process skills stand out

Well-run processes are the foundation of every efficient Dutch organisation. Build the skills to model, analyse and improve the way work flows, and become the person teams turn to when processes break. Start your BPM journey today.

The Process Skills You Will BuildModelling, Analysis and Redesign in Practice

In this Business Process Management training you will learn to model, analyse, redesign and govern real business processes. Each skill maps to a module in the one-day programme and is reinforced through hands-on BPMN modelling and analysis workshops, so you leave able to apply the method to your own processes straight away.

The BPM Lifecycle End to End

Learn to run the full lifecycle: identify which processes matter, model them, analyse performance, design improvements, implement change and monitor results as a continuous loop rather than a one-off project.

    Process Modelling with BPMN 2.0

Build clear, stakeholder-readable process models using Business Process Model and Notation 2.0: events, activities, gateways, sequence flows and swimlanes. Move from a verbal description to an as-is and to-be diagram.

    Process Analysis and Measurement

Use qualitative and quantitative techniques to find waste, bottlenecks and rework. Measure lead time, cycle time, first-pass yield and cost, and apply 5 Whys and Fishbone analysis to reach root causes.

    Process Redesign Principles

Apply simplification, standardisation, automation, error-proofing, parallelisation and self-service to redesign workflows, and evaluate design options against impact, feasibility and risk.

    Process Ownership and Governance

Define the process owner role, set up governance and documentation standards, and manage the people side of process change so improvements actually stick in the organisation.

    BPM Technology and Automation

Understand how BPMS platforms and RPA support process execution and monitoring, how BPMN models drive automation design, and why sound process work is the first step in digital transformation.

Yes. Process skills are in steady demand across Dutch banking, logistics, technology and public sector employers investing in automation and digital transformation. The training gives you a repeatable method to cut waste and improve processes, skills you can apply the very next working day.

It suits business analysts, process owners, operations and service delivery managers, IT professionals, quality managers and change practitioners in any sector. Anyone responsible for designing, managing or improving business processes will benefit, regardless of prior training.

No. There are no formal prerequisites and the course introduces BPM from first principles. Some familiarity with business operations is helpful but not required, so beginners and experienced professionals can both take part comfortably.

The programme is grounded in BPMN 2.0 (ISO/IEC 19510), the international standard for process modelling, along with the ABPMP BPM Common Body of Knowledge (CBOK) and the ISO 9001:2015 process approach. It also touches Lean and Six Sigma analysis techniques.

    General

What is Business Process Management (BPM) training?

BPM training is a practical, one-day programme that teaches you to identify, model, analyse, improve and monitor business processes. You learn the full BPM lifecycle, BPMN 2.0 process modelling, process analysis and redesign, so you can improve how work flows in your organisation.

Is Business Process Management training worth it?

Yes. Process skills are in steady demand across Dutch banking, logistics, technology and public sector employers investing in automation and digital transformation. The training gives you a repeatable method to cut waste and improve processes, skills you can apply the very next working day.

Who should attend this BPM course?

It suits business analysts, process owners, operations and service delivery managers, IT professionals, quality managers and change practitioners in any sector. Anyone responsible for designing, managing or improving business processes will benefit, regardless of prior training.

Do I need prior experience or prerequisites?

No. There are no formal prerequisites and the course introduces BPM from first principles. Some familiarity with business operations is helpful but not required, so beginners and experienced professionals can both take part comfortably.

Which standards and frameworks does the training follow?

The programme is grounded in BPMN 2.0 (ISO/IEC 19510), the international standard for process modelling, along with the ABPMP BPM Common Body of Knowledge (CBOK) and the ISO 9001:2015 process approach. It also touches Lean and Six Sigma analysis techniques.

    Pricing

How much does BPM training cost in the Netherlands?

Pricing varies by delivery mode, group size and schedule, so exact fees are available on request. Corporate and group rates are also available. Contact a learning advisor for a quote tailored to your needs.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee typically includes instructor-led training across all six BPM modules, hands-on BPMN modelling and analysis workshops, structured courseware and learner support, plus a course completion record from Invensis Learning. Request a quote for full details.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for teams and departments. It is particularly effective when teams model their own real processes during the session. Ask about corporate pricing for a tailored quote.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

Is there a separate fee to budget for beyond the training?

No. This is a non-certification course, so there is no separate exam fee. You pay only the training fee, and you receive a course completion record on finishing the programme.

    Assessment

Is there an exam for the BPM training?

No. This is a non-certification skills course with no exam. Learning is reinforced through hands-on BPMN modelling exercises, process analysis workshops and group discussion during the one-day programme.

Do I receive anything on completing the training?

You receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning. No formal credential is awarded by an external body, because BPM as a discipline has no single governing body. The value is the practical skills you can use immediately at work.

How am I assessed during the course?

There is no formal assessment. Instead, you apply the concepts through process modelling exercises, analysis workshops and team activities throughout the day, which lets you practise BPM techniques on realistic scenarios as you learn.

Will these skills expire or need renewal?

No. Because there is nothing formal to maintain, there is nothing to renew. The BPMN modelling, analysis and redesign skills you gain remain applicable and do not expire.

What will I be able to do after completing the course?

You will be able to map processes in BPMN 2.0, analyse them for waste and bottlenecks, apply redesign principles, define process KPIs, and set up process ownership and governance. In short, you can model, improve and help implement better processes.

    Course Content

What topics does the BPM syllabus cover?

The syllabus spans six modules: introduction to BPM, the BPM lifecycle, process modelling with BPMN 2.0, process analysis and performance measurement, process design and governance, and BPM technology, automation and continuous improvement.

How long is the training and what is the format?

The programme runs for one day (8 hours), also available as two half-days. It is delivered as instructor-led training with hands-on modelling and analysis exercises throughout, in live virtual, classroom or corporate onsite formats.

    Are there hands-on exercises included?

Yes. You practise drawing BPMN process models from verbal descriptions, run process analysis to identify waste, and apply redesign principles to improve a process. The workshops are central to the course, not an add-on.

How does BPM relate to Lean and Six Sigma?

BPM provides the end-to-end framework for identifying, modelling, governing and improving processes. Lean and Six Sigma provide specific improvement tools, such as waste elimination and DMAIC, that are applied within that framework. The two are complementary.

Does the course cover automation, RPA and BPMS?

Yes, at a practical level. You learn how BPMS platforms and Robotic Process Automation support process execution, how BPMN models guide automation design, and why sound process work must come before automation and digital transformation.

    Enrollment

How do I enrol in the BPM course?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you will receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. Talk to a learning advisor if you need help choosing.

    What training formats are available?

We offer online (live virtual) instructor-led training, classroom sessions, onsite delivery and customised corporate group training, so you can pick the format that fits your schedule and learning style.

How soon can I start and where are sessions held?

New live virtual and classroom batches run regularly, and onsite sessions can be arranged for teams across the Netherlands. See upcoming schedules or speak with a learning advisor to find a date that works for you.

Can I reschedule or transfer my enrolment?

Yes. Flexible options let you reschedule or transfer to another batch where available. Contact our support team to arrange this before your session.

Can this training be delivered in-house for my team?

Yes. Corporate onsite and live virtual delivery is available for cross-functional teams, and it is especially effective when your team models and analyses its own real processes during the session. Get a group quote to arrange it.
