What Is Driving Change Management Demand in Romania

    Digital Transformation at Scale

Romania's recovery plan directs EUR 21.4bn into digital transformation, yet many programmes stall on adoption. Certified change professionals close that gap between new systems and lasting behaviour change.

Learn change models that drive adoption

    Banking and Financial Services Overhaul

Banks in Romania are reshaping around regulation, digital channels and culture. Leaders increasingly say culture, not technology, is the real advantage, so change and OD talent is in high demand.

Build regulatory and culture change skills

    Business Services Growth and Transitions

With 220,000+ people in shared services and GBS centres, constant process transitions and restructuring create demand for structured stakeholder engagement and resistance management.

    Manage change across large teams

    Skills Shortage and Change Fatigue

Persistent talent shortages and back-to-back initiatives leave teams change-weary. Professionals who can manage change saturation and sustain adoption are highly valued by Romanian employers.

    Turn resistance into engagement

    Industry 4.0 in Manufacturing

Automotive and manufacturing employers are modernising operations and ways of working. These transformations need change practitioners who can align people, processes and culture.

    Lead operational and culture change

    Public Sector and EU-Funded Reform

EU-funded modernisation drives service redesign and restructuring across public bodies. Change management skills help these programmes deliver benefits rather than disruption.

    Support service redesign and reform

The Change Skills You Will BuildReady to Apply on Day One

By the end of this programme you can manage the people and culture side of change from end to end, applying proven models to real organisational scenarios across both the Foundation and Practitioner levels.

    Guide Individuals Through Change

This programme builds the practical change management skills covered across the five CMBoK syllabus areas. You learn to apply ADKAR and Bridges' Transition Model to diagnose where individual change stalls and design targeted support for people moving through transition.

    Lead Organisational Change

Select and apply the right organisational change models, including Lewin's three-step model, Kotter's 8-Step Model and McKinsey 7-S, and diagnose culture using Schein's model to plan change that fits the organisational context and readiness.

    Engage Stakeholders and Communicate Change

Map and analyse stakeholders, build an engagement strategy, and design change communication plans. You learn to use Cialdini's principles of influence to manage resistance through dialogue rather than coercion.

    Plan and Deliver Change Interventions

Run change impact assessments, build a complete change management plan covering communication, training, resistance and benefits, and apply techniques that embed and sustain change after go-live.

    Strengthen Personal Change Capability

Develop the emotional intelligence, coaching, facilitation and ethical judgement that underpin effective change practice, using Goleman's model to build trust and sustain relationships through difficult change.

    Pass Both Certification Exams

Prepare for the closed-book Foundation exam and the open-book, scenario-based Practitioner exam, with practice questions, mock exams and technique for navigating the Practitioner Guide efficiently under time.

Yes. The qualification is recognised in over 150 countries and is well respected across the UK, Europe and markets where change management is an established profession, including Romania's banking, consulting and technology sectors.

    General

What is the Change Management Foundation and Practitioner certification?

It is a two-level qualification covering the knowledge, models and practices needed to manage the people and culture side of organisational change. Foundation validates your understanding of change concepts, while Practitioner validates your ability to apply them to real scenarios, both aligned to the CMBoK and the current Change Management Practitioner Guide.

Is the change management certification worth it in Romania?

Yes. With EU-funded digital transformation, banking overhaul and large business services centres, Romanian employers actively seek certified change professionals. Roles such as Change Manager and Change Management Consultant command strong salary bands, and change capability is still scarce in the market. Request a quote to start.

    Who should take this course?

It suits change managers, project and programme managers, HR business partners, OD practitioners, consultants and leaders who sponsor or deliver change. Anyone responsible for helping people adopt new ways of working benefits from the qualification.

Which change management models does it cover?

The syllabus covers ADKAR, Bridges' Transition Model, Lewin's three-step model, Kotter's 8-Step Model, McKinsey 7-S, Schein's culture model, Goleman's emotional intelligence model and Cialdini's principles of influence, across five topic areas.

    Is the certification recognised internationally?

Yes. The qualification is recognised in over 150 countries and is well respected across the UK, Europe and markets where change management is an established profession, including Romania's banking, consulting and technology sectors.

    Pricing

How much does the training cost in Romania?

Pricing is available on request and depends on your chosen format, live virtual, classroom, corporate or one-to-one. The course is typically purchased as a combined training package covering both the Foundation and Practitioner levels. Talk to a learning advisor for a tailored quote.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee typically includes CMBoK-aligned courseware, industry case studies, practice questions and mock exams for both levels, and dedicated learner support. Verify the current inclusion of exam vouchers when you enrol. Ask about group or corporate pricing for teams.

Are the exam fees included in the price?

Exam voucher inclusion varies by package and region, so confirm it when you enrol. Your advisor can confirm exactly what is included for the Foundation and Practitioner exams before you book.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for PMOs, HR and OD functions, and transformation teams. Contact us for a tailored quote.

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

How many exams are there in the combined programme?

There are two separate exams. You must sit and pass both the Foundation exam and the Practitioner exam to hold both credentials. Foundation is closed book, while Practitioner is open book and scenario-based.

What is the format of the Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam has 50 multiple-choice, single-answer questions to be completed in 40 minutes. It is closed book, and the pass mark is 50%, which is 25 out of 50 correct.

What is the format of the Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam has five scenario-based sections, each worth 16 marks, for a total of 80 marks. You have 2.5 hours, it is open book with the Change Management Practitioner Guide permitted, and the pass mark is 50%, which is 40 out of 80 marks.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

You may use the Change Management Practitioner Guide during the exam. However, the scenario sections require analysis and judgement, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient guide navigation and deep method knowledge are both essential.

What are the prerequisites for the Practitioner exam?

You need the Change Management Foundation certification before sitting the Practitioner exam. Foundation itself has no formal prerequisites and is open to all, which is why the combined programme covers both levels in sequence.

What if I do not pass an exam the first time?

You can resit the exam. Our trainers provide first-attempt guidance, mock exams and practice questions for both levels to help you prepare thoroughly. Speak with our team about resit options and support.
