Do I need work experience to take CAPM?

No. CAPM is the only PMI practitioner credential that requires no project work experience. You need a secondary degree (or global equivalent) and 23 hours of project management education, which this training fully provides.

How long is the CAPM certification valid?

CAPM is valid for three years. Unlike the PMP, you renew it by retaking and passing the CAPM exam within the three-year cycle, rather than by earning PDUs.

Is CAPM recognised by employers in Sweden?

What if I do not pass the CAPM exam on the first try?

You can retake it. PMI allows up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period, and our practice questions, mock exams and first-attempt guidance are designed to help you pass the first time. Re-examination fees apply per attempt.

What is the format of the CAPM exam?

The CAPM exam has 150 multiple-choice questions and lasts three hours (180 minutes). It is closed book and delivered via Pearson VUE OnVUE online proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre.
