You receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning after finishing the one-day programme. This is a record of completion rather than a formal credential, as Kaizen is a methodology with no awarding body.

What will I be able to do after the training?

You will be able to plan and facilitate a Kaizen event, apply the PDCA cycle, identify and remove the eight wastes, use 5S and standard work, and embed daily improvement habits to sustain gains in your workplace.

How long is the Kaizen training?

The course runs for one day (eight hours), or as two half-day sessions totalling eight hours. It covers the Kaizen philosophy, PDCA cycle, event planning and facilitation, Lean tools and sustaining improvement, with workshop simulations throughout.

How does Kaizen relate to Lean and Six Sigma?

Kaizen is a core engine of Lean and the Toyota Production System, and Kaizen events are used in the Improve and Control phases of Six Sigma DMAIC. It also supports continual improvement under ISO 9001:2015.

What topics does the Kaizen training cover?

The programme covers six modules: the Kaizen philosophy, the PDCA cycle and thinking tools, planning a Kaizen event, running a Kaizen event, Kaizen tools in practice such as 5S and standard work, and sustaining a continuous improvement culture.

What tools will I learn in the Kaizen course?

You will learn Gemba walks, the 5 Whys, fishbone diagrams, the eight wastes (DOWNTIME), 5S, standard work, spaghetti diagrams, time observation and the Kaizen newspaper for tracking actions after an event.

Are there practical exercises in the training?

Yes. Hands-on workshop simulations run throughout the day, so you practise planning and facilitating a Kaizen event on realistic process scenarios rather than only learning theory.

Can beginners take the Kaizen course?

Yes. The course is beginner-friendly and starts from first principles, so no prior Lean or continuous improvement experience is required. It suits both newcomers and experienced practitioners.

Is the content suitable for service and office teams?
