Assessment

Is there an exam for this Azure DevOps course?

No. This is a non-certification skills course with no examination. Learning is reinforced through hands-on Azure DevOps exercises throughout the programme.

What will I receive after completing the training?

You receive a Course Completion Certificate from Invensis Learning. The practical skills you gain in CI/CD, infrastructure as code and monitoring are immediately applicable at work.

How is learning assessed?

There is no formal assessment. You apply each concept through live exercises, such as building a YAML pipeline, deploying to Azure Kubernetes Service and writing a Bicep template, so you practise the skills as you learn them.

Does this training lead to a Microsoft certification?

No. This is practical skills training, not an exam-prep or certification course. It builds hands-on Azure DevOps capability you can apply immediately, and complements further DevOps and cloud learning.

How long is the training?

The programme runs for one day (eight hours) and covers all six modules, from DevOps principles and Azure Repos through CI/CD, infrastructure as code, containers, monitoring and DevSecOps, with hands-on exercises throughout.

Which Azure DevOps services will I learn to use?

You will work with the five Azure DevOps services: Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, Azure Boards, Azure Artifacts and Azure Test Plans, alongside ARM and Bicep, ACR, AKS, Azure Monitor and Application Insights.

Are there hands-on exercises?

Yes. Every module includes practical exercises in the Azure DevOps portal and CLI, such as creating a repository with branch policies, writing a CI pipeline, deploying to AKS and setting up Azure Monitor alerts.

Will I learn infrastructure as code?

Yes. You will provision Azure infrastructure with ARM templates and Bicep, understand deployment modes and what-if previews, and deploy your templates directly from Azure Pipelines.

Can a beginner take this course?

Yes. The course is beginner-friendly and introduces every Azure DevOps service from the ground up. Some development or operations familiarity helps, but no prior Azure DevOps experience is required.
