Is the CAPM worth it for professionals in Armenia?

Do I need work experience to take the CAPM?

No. The CAPM requires no project management work experience. You need a secondary degree, such as a high school diploma or global equivalent, plus 23 hours of project management education, which this training provides.

Is the CAPM recognised in Armenia and internationally?

Yes. As a PMI credential, the CAPM carries global recognition through PMI's network across more than 200 countries. Employers in Armenia and worldwide accept it as a credible signal of foundational project management knowledge.

How long is the CAPM valid and how is it renewed?

The CAPM is valid for three years. Unlike the PMP, it is renewed by retaking and passing the CAPM exam within the certification cycle, not by earning PDUs. There is no PDU requirement for CAPM renewal.

What is included in the CAPM course fee?

The training fee typically includes PMI-aligned courseware, practice questions, mock exams, 24 contact hours of education, and learner support with a course completion certificate. The PMI exam fee is billed separately by PMI.

Is the PMI exam fee included in the training price?

No. PMI bills the CAPM exam fee separately in USD under regional pricing. For reference, PMI members pay less than non-members, and membership also gives free access to the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition. Verify current fees at pmi.org before applying.

What is the format of the CAPM exam?

The CAPM exam has 150 questions and lasts three hours. It is closed book with multiple-choice questions, delivered via Pearson VUE OnVUE online proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre, and is based on the CAPM Examination Content Outline effective 2023.

What does the CAPM exam cover?

The exam covers four domains from the 2023 ECO: Project Management Fundamentals and Core Concepts (36%), Predictive Plan-Based Methodologies (17%), Agile Frameworks and Methodologies (20%), and Business Analysis Frameworks (27%). It is aligned to the PMBOK Guide Eighth Edition.

Is there a fixed passing score for the CAPM exam?

No. PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score rather than a fixed percentage. Results are reported as pass or fail with performance feedback across the four CAPM domains, so aim for broad mastery of all four.

How many attempts do I get for the CAPM exam?

You get up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period, which starts from the date PMI approves your application. Our preparation and mock exams are designed to help you feel ready for your first attempt.

Where can I take the CAPM exam in Armenia?

No prior experience is needed. The CAPM training is built for beginners and explains every concept from the ground up, so students, graduates and career changers can follow along with confidence.

How many training hours does the course provide?

The programme provides 24 contact hours of instructor-led training, which exceeds the 23 hours of project management education PMI requires. Completing it fully satisfies the CAPM education prerequisite.

What learning materials are included?

You receive courseware aligned to the 2023 CAPM ECO and the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition, along with practice questions, mock exams, case studies and revision aids to support your preparation.

Are there mock exams and practice questions included?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions and full-length mock exams mapped to the 150-question, three-hour CAPM format, helping you identify weak areas and build exam readiness.
