    The programme covers QbD principles and the ICH regulatory context, the QTPP and CQAs, risk assessment, Design of Experiments and design space, Process Analytical Technology and control strategy, and QbD in practice through small molecule and biologic case studies.

    Does the course cover both small molecules and biologics?

    Yes. It covers QbD principles for small molecule drug products such as tablets and injectables, and for biopharmaceuticals such as monoclonal antibodies and biosimilars, with case study examples from both.

    Are Design of Experiments and design space included?

    Yes. You learn how DoE replaces one-factor-at-a-time work, which design types suit QbD, and how to interpret the models to define a design space with Normal Operating Ranges and Proven Acceptable Ranges.

    Does the training include hands-on exercises?

    Yes. Hands-on QbD tool exercises run throughout, covering QTPP construction, CQA identification, Ishikawa and FMEA risk assessment and design space interpretation using realistic pharmaceutical development scenarios.

    How long is the QbD training?

    The programme is typically delivered in one day of about eight hours, covering all QbD modules from principles and the ICH framework through to control strategy and case studies, with exercises throughout. Corporate schedules can be adjusted to suit your team.
