    How many questions are on the PMP exam and how long is it?

    The PMP exam has 180 questions and runs for 230 minutes, which is 3 hours and 50 minutes, including two 10-minute scheduled breaks. It uses multiple question types, including multiple choice, matching, hotspot and limited fill-in-the-blank.

    What are the PMP exam domains?

    The exam based on the PMBOK Guide Eighth Edition covers five domains: Project Management Fundamentals (15%), Predictive Methodologies (28%), Agile Frameworks (27%), Business Analysis and Strategic Management (18%), and Stakeholder Engagement and Communication (12%).

    What is the passing score for the PMP exam?

    PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score that is not published as a fixed number. Results are reported as pass or fail with domain-level feedback of Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement, so aim for broad mastery across all five domains.
