    How am I assessed during the course?

    There is no formal assessment. Instead, you apply each concept through practical exercises, such as kanban quantity calculation, kanban loop design, board design and WIP-limit setting, so you leave able to use the skills, not just recall them.

    What do I receive on completing the training?

    You receive a course completion record from Invensis Learning. It recognises that you have completed the one-day programme and built practical Kanban skills for manufacturing and knowledge-work environments.

    Are there any prerequisites to join?

    Yes. You learn to calculate kanban quantities and the number of cards using takt time, demand, replenishment lead time and a safety factor, and to design container sizes and supermarket layouts, so the system caps inventory by design.

    Does the course cover WIP limits and flow metrics?

    Yes. You learn why WIP limits improve flow and how to set them, and how to measure lead time, cycle time and throughput, apply Little's Law and read a cumulative flow diagram to find bottlenecks and forecast delivery.

    What hands-on exercises are included?

    Exercises include push versus pull identification, kanban quantity calculation, kanban loop design for a manufacturing scenario, Agile board design for a software or IT scenario, WIP-limit setting and cumulative flow diagram interpretation.
