    The OBSF exam is an open-book, single-answer multiple-choice paper based on the current Observability Foundation Exam Blueprint (Body of Knowledge). It is delivered online via PeopleCert OnVUE proctoring or at an authorised test centre.

    How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 40 multiple-choice questions and a time limit of 60 minutes (one hour). It is an open-book paper, so the focus is on understanding observability concepts rather than memorising facts.

    What is the passing score for the OBSF exam?

    The passing score is 65%, which means answering at least 26 of the 40 questions correctly. Broad understanding across all six modules of the Observability Foundation blueprint is the best way to pass comfortably.
