Is there an exam for Primavera P6 training?

No. This is a practical, non-certification course, so there is no exam. Learning is reinforced through live hands-on Primavera P6 exercises throughout each level, and you receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning.

Do I get a certificate after the course?

Yes. You receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning after finishing the training. It recognises the practical Primavera P6 skills you have built, and it is a skills-based completion record rather than an accredited credential.

How is my learning assessed?

There is no formal assessment. Instead, you practise each P6 feature live on realistic project scenarios, so you build software fluency during the training. Trainers provide feedback and answer questions throughout each session.

What will I be able to do after Fundamentals?

After Fundamentals you can navigate P6, set up the enterprise project structure, build an activity list, create relationships, run the scheduler, interpret the critical path and float, assign resources, set a baseline and track progress against it.

What does the Advanced level add?

Advanced adds resource and cost loading, cost accounts, earned value management, baseline comparison and Claim Digger, multi-project and portfolio management, and custom reporting with Excel integration, taking you to practitioner-level P6 project controls.

What topics does the Primavera P6 course cover?

Fundamentals covers the enterprise project structure, activity creation, relationships and scheduling, the critical path, resource assignment, baselines and progress tracking. Advanced covers cost loading, earned value, Claim Digger, multi-project management and custom reporting.

How long is the Primavera P6 training?

Fundamentals runs for 2 days (16 hours) and Advanced for 3 days (24 hours). Both are available as full-day sessions or extended half-day formats, and you can take either level independently or both in sequence.

What is the difference between Fundamentals and Advanced?

Fundamentals builds core P6 scheduling skills for new or occasional users. Advanced is for experienced users and covers resource and cost loading, earned value management, Claim Digger, multi-project control and custom reporting. Most learners start with Fundamentals.

Are the sessions hands-on?

Yes. Every module is taught with live Primavera P6 exercises on realistic construction, engineering and capital project scenarios. You follow along in P6 as the instructor demonstrates each feature, so you build practical fluency, not just theory.

Does the course cover earned value management?

Yes, at the Advanced level. You learn to cost-load a schedule and calculate and report earned value metrics such as BCWS, BCWP, ACWP, SPI, CPI, EAC and TCPI directly from P6, then generate the earned value S-curve for performance reporting.
