    What is the format of the Observability Foundation exam?

    The exam is open book with single-answer, multiple-choice questions based on the Observability Foundation Exam Blueprint. It is delivered online with PeopleCert proctoring or at an authorised test centre.

    How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 40 questions and a time limit of 60 minutes (one hour). It is an open-book, single-answer multiple-choice paper.

    What is the passing score for the exam?

    You need 65% to pass, which is 26 out of 40 questions correct. Focus on broad understanding across the whole body of knowledge rather than any single topic.

    Are there any prerequisites for the exam?

    No. Observability Foundation has no formal prerequisites and is open to all. Familiarity with DevOps concepts or IT operations is helpful but not required.

    What if I do not pass the exam on the first attempt?
