Is there an exam for this course?

There is no formal assessment. You apply each concept immediately through practical labs, such as building a pipeline, deploying a CloudFormation stack and setting up CloudWatch alarms, so you learn by doing.

What certificate do I receive?

You receive a Course Completion Certificate from Invensis Learning after completing the programme. This recognises your participation in the training and the practical skills you have built.

Is this an accredited certification?

No. This is a practical skills course with no awarding body or certification exam. It focuses on building job-ready AWS DevOps capability rather than preparing you for a formal credential.

Do the skills need renewal?

Course Content

What will I learn in AWS DevOps training?

You learn to build CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure with code, deploy containerised applications and monitor cloud workloads on AWS, along with DevSecOps practices to build security into every stage of delivery.

What modules are covered?

The programme covers six areas: DevOps and the AWS ecosystem; source control and CI with CodeCommit and CodeBuild; continuous delivery with CodeDeploy and CodePipeline; infrastructure as code with CloudFormation and CDK; containers with ECS and EKS; and monitoring, DevSecOps and improvement with CloudWatch.

Are there hands-on exercises?

Yes. Hands-on AWS Console and CLI exercises run throughout the day. You create a repository, build a pipeline, deploy infrastructure as code, deploy a container and set up monitoring dashboards and alarms.

How long is the training?

The course is delivered as a focused 1-day, 8-hour programme covering all six modules with hands-on exercises. It can also be arranged as two half-days to suit team schedules.

Is the content up to date with current AWS services?

Yes. The course covers the current AWS-native DevOps services and practices. Because AWS updates its services frequently, the training focuses on the concepts and patterns that carry across those updates.
