    What is the format of the EXIN BCS Foundation exam?

    The Foundation exam has 40 closed-book, single-answer multiple-choice questions to be completed in 60 minutes. The pass mark is 65%, which is 26 out of 40 correct. It covers business analysis concepts across 14 topic areas.

    What is the format of the Practitioner exam?

    The Practitioner exam also has 40 closed-book questions in 60 minutes, but they are scenario-based, presenting realistic project situations that require you to apply BA techniques. The pass mark is 65%, which is 26 out of 40, across 7 applied topic areas.

    What is the passing score for both exams?

    The passing score is 65% for each exam, meaning 26 correct answers out of 40 for both the Foundation and the Practitioner examinations.

    Where can I take the exams in Ukraine?

    Both exams can be taken online through EXIN's online proctored exam system, or at an EXIN accredited testing location. They are usually arranged through the accredited training provider as part of the combined programme.

    What if I do not pass an exam the first time?

    You can re-sit the relevant exam. Our training includes mock exams, practice questions and trainer guidance to prepare you for a first-time pass, and selected plans offer retake support. Verify EXIN's current re-sit policy before booking.

    Are there prerequisites for the exams?

    The Foundation certificate has no formal prerequisites and is open to all. The Foundation certificate is the recommended prerequisite for the Practitioner exam, so the combined programme prepares you for both in the correct order.
