How to Get PMI-RMP Certified in UkraineStep-by-Step Certification Process

The PMI-RMP certification path in Ukraine is a pure exam track: once your PMI application is approved, you proceed directly to the 115-question, 150-minute exam administered through Pearson VUE , no peer-panel review is required. From initial training to exam day typically takes 6-10 weeks, including application processing.

Set A: high school or secondary school diploma (or global equivalent) + 36 months / 3 years of project risk management experience within the last 5 years + 40 hours of project risk management education. What is the PMI-RMP certification and who is it for?

Is the PMI-RMP worth it for professionals in Ukraine?

Yes. As Ukraine's reconstruction, energy and EU-accession programmes scale, employers increasingly require formal risk governance to satisfy donors and investors. Certified risk professionals are scarce relative to demand, so the PMI-RMP is a strong differentiator for senior roles.

Is the PMI-RMP recognised internationally?

Yes. As a PMI credential, the PMI-RMP is recognised by employers worldwide and is especially valued in high-risk sectors such as construction, energy, defence and financial services, where formal project risk management is often contractually or regulatorily required.

Is PMP required before taking the PMI-RMP?

No. PMP is not a prerequisite for the PMI-RMP. You can apply directly based on your risk management experience and education. Many holders do carry both credentials, as they are highly complementary.

How long is the PMI-RMP certification valid?

The PMI-RMP is valid for three years. To maintain it, you earn 30 PDUs in risk management topics within each three-year cycle through PMI's Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR) system.

What is included in the PMI-RMP training fee?

The training fee typically includes PMI-aligned courseware, 32 contact hours of instruction, practice questions, mock exams, application guidance and learner support with a course completion certificate. The PMI exam fee is billed separately. Request a quote for current pricing in Ukraine.

How much does the PMI-RMP exam cost?

PMI bills the exam separately in USD under regional pricing. For reference, it is around USD 520 for PMI members and USD 670 for non-members, though actual fees vary, so confirm current amounts at pmi.org. Membership can lower the exam fee.

Do you offer group or corporate pricing for teams?

What payment options are available?

We accept major cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you and to see upcoming batches.

Are there separate PMI membership and renewal costs?

Yes. PMI membership is optional and billed separately (around USD 139 per year for reference; verify at pmi.org), and it can reduce the exam fee. Renewal every three years also carries a PMI fee. These are PMI charges, not part of the training price.

What is the format of the PMI-RMP exam?

The PMI-RMP exam is closed book with multiple-choice questions, based on the PMI-RMP Examination Content Outline effective January 2022. It is delivered via Pearson VUE OnVUE online proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

How many questions are on the PMI-RMP exam and how long is it?

The exam has 115 questions and a total time of 2.5 hours (150 minutes). It uses single-answer and multiple-answer multiple-choice formats across the five risk domains.

What are the PMI-RMP exam domains and their weights?

There are five domains per the 2022 ECO: Risk Strategy and Planning (20%), Risk Identification (20%), Risk Analysis (23%), Risk Response (22%) and Monitor and Close Risks (15%).

What is the passing score for the PMI-RMP exam?

PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score that is not published as a fixed number. Results are reported as pass or fail, with domain-level feedback (Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement), so focus on broad mastery of all five domains.

What happens if I do not pass the first time?

You have up to three attempts within the one-year eligibility window from application approval. Re-examination fees apply to later attempts. Our practice questions and mock exams are designed to prepare you fully for a first-time pass.

What will I learn in the PMI-RMP training?

You will learn to plan, identify, analyse, respond to and monitor project risk across all five PMI-RMP domains. The programme covers qualitative and quantitative analysis, response strategies for threats and opportunities, and risk monitoring across predictive, agile and hybrid delivery.

Can a beginner take this course, or do I need experience?

Anyone can attend the training. To sit the PMI-RMP exam, PMI requires project risk management experience and risk education under one of three eligibility sets. The 32 contact hours help meet the education requirement, and trainers support you throughout.

Does this training meet the PMI-RMP education requirement?

Yes. The 32 contact hours fully satisfy the 30-hour risk education requirement for Set B (bachelor's degree) and Set C (GAC-accredited degree) candidates. Set A candidates (secondary diploma) need 40 hours and should add at least 8 more hours of risk education.

Is the courseware aligned with the latest PMI-RMP outline?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the PMI-RMP Examination Content Outline effective January 2022 and the PMI Practice Standard for Project Risk Management, covering predictive, agile and hybrid risk approaches.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions and full-length mock exams mapped to the 115-question format, plus topic-wise checks to help you identify weak areas and build exam readiness.

What are the eligibility requirements to earn the PMI-RMP?

PMI offers three sets: Set A (secondary diploma) needs 36 months of risk experience in the last 5 years plus 40 hours of risk education; Set B (bachelor's) needs 24 months plus 30 hours; Set C (GAC-accredited degree) needs 12 months plus 30 hours. Experience must be specifically in project risk management.
