    Do I need the EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation first?

    EXIN recommends Agile Scrum Foundation knowledge as the entry point before ASM, but it is generally not strictly enforced. The training covers the Scrum framework basics you need, so motivated learners can prepare for ASM directly. Verify the current policy with EXIN.

    Does the ASM certification expire?

    What is the format of the EXIN ASM exam?

    The EXIN Agile Scrum Master exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination. Questions are drawn from the five EXIN topic areas covering the agile mindset, the Scrum Master role, agile planning, complex projects and adopting agile.

    How many questions are on the ASM exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 40 multiple-choice questions and you have 90 minutes to complete it. It is a closed-book exam based on the EXIN Agile Scrum Master examination specification.

    What is the passing score for the ASM exam?

    The passing score is 65 percent, which means answering at least 26 of the 40 questions correctly. Broad mastery across all five topic areas is the best way to prepare.

    How is the ASM exam delivered?

    You can take the exam through EXIN online proctoring from home or office, or at an accredited testing location. Accredited training providers can also arrange the exam alongside your course.

    What if I do not pass the exam the first time?

    Do I need prior experience to take this course?

    No formal experience is required. EXIN recommends Agile Scrum Foundation knowledge, but the course builds the Scrum framework basics, so beginners and those new to the Scrum Master role can follow along with trainer support.

    What learning resources are included?

    You receive EXIN-aligned courseware, practice questions, full-length mock exams and topic-wise quizzes, plus real-world facilitation and coaching examples to help you apply concepts and build exam readiness.

    How long is the ASM training?

    The program runs for about 16 hours of training, usually delivered over two days. The schedule may be offered as two full days or as several shorter sessions, depending on the batch you choose.
