What is the format of the DevOps Foundation exam?

The DevOps Foundation exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination with single-answer questions. It is based on the DevOps Foundation Body of Knowledge and delivered online with PeopleCert OnVUE proctoring or at an authorized test center.

How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

The exam has 40 multiple-choice questions and an allotted time of 60 minutes (one hour). It is a closed-book exam delivered online or at a test center.

What is the passing score for the DevOps Foundation exam?

The passing score is 65%, which means answering at least 26 of the 40 questions correctly. Broad understanding across all six topic areas is the best way to prepare.
