Course Content

What topics and tools are covered?

The programme covers DevOps principles, Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines CI/CD, Azure Boards, Azure Artifacts and Azure Test Plans, infrastructure as code with ARM and Bicep, containers with ACR and AKS, monitoring with Azure Monitor and Application Insights, and DevSecOps.

Can a beginner take this course?

Yes. The course has no formal prerequisites and introduces each Azure DevOps service from the ground up. Basic development or operations awareness helps, but the hands-on exercises are designed to support newcomers to the platform.

What hands-on exercises are included?

You practise real tasks such as creating an Azure Repos repository with branch policies, writing a YAML CI pipeline, adding a deployment stage, writing and deploying a Bicep template, and configuring Azure Monitor alerts and a Key Vault linked variable group.

How long is the training?

The programme runs as one day of eight hours, covering all six modules with concept explanations, Azure context and hands-on exercises throughout. It can also be delivered as two half-day sessions.
