    What is the format of the two EXIN BCS BA exams?

    Both exams are closed book with 40 multiple-choice questions and a 60-minute duration. The Foundation exam uses straightforward single-answer questions across 14 topic areas; the Practitioner exam uses scenario-based questions across seven applied topic areas.

    What is the passing score for each exam?

    The passing score is 65% for both exams, which is 26 out of 40 questions correct. You must sit and pass both the Foundation and Practitioner exams to hold both credentials.

    Are there prerequisites to sit the exams?

    There are no formal prerequisites for the Foundation exam. The EXIN BCS Foundation Certificate is the recommended prerequisite for the Practitioner exam, which is why the combined programme covers both levels in sequence.

    Where can I take the exams from Barbados?

    Yes. The Foundation level has no prerequisites and is designed for those new to business analysis. The programme then builds to Practitioner level, so beginners and experienced professionals both gain a structured, supported path.
