    How long are the PRINCE2 certifications valid?

    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Foundation exam?

    The Foundation exam has 60 multiple-choice questions, lasts 60 minutes and is closed book. The pass mark is 60%, which is 36 out of 60 correct. It is delivered online with PeopleCert proctoring or at an authorised test centre.

    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

    The Practitioner exam has 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks, lasts 150 minutes and is open book, with the PRINCE2 manual permitted. The pass mark is 60%, which is 42 out of 70 marks. It uses scenario-based objective questions.

    Which edition are the PRINCE2 exams based on?

    Both exams are based on PRINCE2 7, the 7th edition published in 2023 by PeopleCert and AXELOS. It introduces the People capability, renames Themes to Practices, and integrates agile and sustainability considerations.

    What are the prerequisites for the Practitioner exam?
