    Course Content

    What topics does the training cover?

    The programme covers six modules: Six Sigma history and philosophy, key concepts and terminology, the DMAIC methodology, Six Sigma roles, an awareness-level look at key tools, and Lean Six Sigma in practice.

    What is DMAIC?

    DMAIC stands for Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control. It is the structured Six Sigma roadmap for improving existing processes, and the course explains what happens in each of the five phases.

    How long is the course?

    The training runs for one day (eight hours), covering all six modules with concept explanations, case study examples, interactive discussion and team exercises. A half-day format across two days is also available.

    Will I learn Six Sigma tools?

    Yes, at awareness level. You gain an understanding of SIPOC, fishbone diagrams, Pareto charts, control charts, Gauge R&R and process capability, and how each is used within a DMAIC project.

    Is the course content up to date?

    Yes. Six Sigma is an established, stable methodology, and the course reflects current practice, including DMAIC, Lean Six Sigma and the widely used Six Sigma role structure from Champion to Yellow Belt.
