Why Change Management Skills Are in Demand Across Latvia

    Digital Transformation in Banking

Latvia's banks and fintechs are redesigning services around digital and AI, yet the value depends on employees adopting new ways of working, exactly what trained change practitioners deliver.

CM-F&P builds stakeholder and adoption skills

    Public Sector Service Redesign

Government digitalisation and restructuring programmes reshape roles and processes, creating strong demand for people who can guide staff through transition and reduce disruption.

    CM-F&P builds change planning capability

    Change Fatigue and Resistance

Concurrent change initiatives overload teams and stall adoption. Practitioners who can diagnose resistance and manage capacity keep programmes on track and protect wellbeing.

    CM-F&P builds resistance management skills

    AI and Automation Adoption

As Latvian firms embed AI, automation and analytics, the technology is the easy part. Reskilling and behaviour change decide whether the investment pays off.

    CM-F&P builds people-side change skills

    Scarce Change Capability

Latvia has a deep pool of project managers but few credentialed change professionals. Foundation and Practitioner certification makes holders visible and valued.

CM-F&P makes certified practitioners stand out

    Strategy-To-Adoption Gap

Leaders approve transformation, but weak links between decision and adoption cause value leakage. Change practitioners connect strategy to the behaviour change that delivers benefits.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

Yes. As banks, IT firms and public bodies in Latvia pursue digital transformation, employers increasingly want people who can lead adoption and manage the people side of change. The combined credential proves both knowledge and applied capability, and certified change practitioners remain scarcer than project managers. Talk to a learning advisor about your goals.

    General

Is the Change Management Foundation and Practitioner certification worth it in Latvia?

What is the Change Management Foundation and Practitioner certification?

It is a combined, two-level qualification covering the people and culture side of organisational change. Foundation validates your knowledge of change models and concepts; Practitioner validates your ability to apply them to real scenarios. It is aligned to the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK) and the current exam syllabi.

Who should take this combined change management course?

It suits project and programme managers, HR business partners, OD practitioners, consultants and leaders who guide organisational change. There are no formal prerequisites for Foundation, so professionals at any career stage in Latvia can start.

Which change management models does the course cover?

The syllabus covers a broad range of models, including ADKAR, Bridges' Transition Model, Lewin's Three-Step Model, Kotter's 8-Step Model, McKinsey 7-S, Schein's culture model, Goleman's emotional intelligence and Cialdini's principles of influence.

Is the change management qualification recognised internationally?

Yes. The qualification is recognised in many countries and is well respected across the UK, Europe and markets where change management is an established profession, so it travels with you across sectors and regions.

    Pricing

How much does the change management course cost in Latvia?

Fees vary by delivery format and whether exam vouchers are bundled, so pricing is available on request in euros. The training fee is quoted separately from any exam fees. Request a quote and a learning advisor will share current options for your chosen format.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee typically includes instructor-led training across both levels, syllabus-aligned courseware, case studies, mock exams and learner support. Exam voucher inclusion varies by package, so confirm this when you request a quote.

Are the exam fees part of the training price?

Exam voucher inclusion depends on the package you choose. Some bundles include the Foundation and Practitioner exam vouchers, while others price them separately. Ask a learning advisor to confirm what your quote covers.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for teams in Latvia. Contact us for a tailored group quote.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam has 50 multiple-choice questions in 40 minutes, closed book, single-answer format. The pass mark is 50%, meaning 25 out of 50 correct. It is usually taken at the end of the Foundation portion of the training.

What is the format of the Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam is open book, using the Change Management Practitioner Guide. It has 5 scenario-based sections worth 16 marks each, 80 marks in total, over 2.5 hours. The pass mark is 50%, meaning 40 out of 80 marks.

Are there prerequisites for the Practitioner exam?

Yes. You must hold the Change Management Foundation certification, or an accepted equivalent, before sitting the Practitioner exam. There are no formal prerequisites for Foundation itself.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

It means the Change Management Practitioner Guide is permitted during the exam. However, the scenario questions require analysis and judgement, so you still need deep method knowledge and efficient navigation of the guide to pass.

What if I do not pass an exam on the first attempt?

The training includes mock exams and technique practice to prepare you for a first-attempt pass. If you need to resit, retake policies and fees vary, so confirm the current terms with a learning advisor before you book.

    Course Content

What topics are covered in the training?

The programme covers five topic areas: Change and the Individual, Change and the Organisation, Communication and Stakeholder Engagement, Change Practice, and Personal and Professional Management. Foundation covers them at knowledge level and Practitioner at applied level.

Do I need prior change management experience?

No prior experience is required to start. Foundation is open to all, and the Practitioner content builds on it through scenario-based practice, so beginners and experienced professionals alike can follow the pathway.

How long is the training and how is it delivered?

The combined programme runs for 40 hours, delivered as live virtual, classroom or corporate training. The number of days depends on the schedule format, from an intensive five-day option to extended part-time schedules.

    What learning materials are provided?

You receive syllabus-aligned courseware for both levels, industry-driven case studies, practice questions and mock exams for the Foundation and Practitioner exams, plus open-book technique guidance for the Practitioner Guide.

Is the courseware aligned to the current syllabus?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current Change Management Foundation and Practitioner exam syllabi and the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK) maintained by the Change Management Institute.

How do I enrol in the change management course?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website or by speaking with a learning advisor. Choose your format, complete payment, and you will receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. See upcoming batches to get started.

What training formats are available in Latvia?

We offer live virtual (online) instructor-led training, classroom sessions and customised corporate group training, so you can choose the format that fits your schedule and location across Latvia.

New cohorts run regularly, and weekday and weekend schedules are available on selected batches. Check the upcoming schedules or ask a learning advisor to match a start date to your availability.

Can I reschedule or transfer my enrolment?
