The Project Delivery Challenges Driving Demand in Eindhoven

    High-Tech Programme Complexity

Brainport firms like ASML and NXP run large, interdependent programmes across long supply chains, demanding structured governance and stage control that certified project professionals are hired to provide.

PRINCE2 builds stage control and governance skills

    Structured Delivery Talent Shortage

The Netherlands faces a persistent skills shortage in technology and delivery roles. Employers compete hard for project managers who can prove a recognised, structured method, making PRINCE2 holders sought after.

PRINCE2 makes certified professionals stand out

    Regulatory and Quality Pressure

Semiconductor and engineering projects operate under strict quality and audit requirements. Weak controls cause costly rework, so demand rises for professionals fluent in PRINCE2 quality and risk practices.

PRINCE2 builds quality and risk practice skills

    Agile and Hybrid Governance Gap

Teams want to respond quickly while still meeting audit and quality demands. PRINCE2 7, with its tailoring guidance and agile integration, closes the gap between speed and control that many organisations struggle with.

PRINCE2 7 supports tailoring for hybrid delivery

Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner is a combined project management qualification governed by AXELOS and examined by PeopleCert. Foundation confirms you understand the PRINCE2 method, while Practitioner confirms you can apply and tailor it to real projects. It is based on the current PRINCE2 7 (2023) edition.

    General

What is the PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner certification?

PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner is a combined project management qualification governed by AXELOS and examined by PeopleCert. Foundation confirms you understand the PRINCE2 method, while Practitioner confirms you can apply and tailor it to real projects. It is based on the current PRINCE2 7 (2023) edition.

Who should take PRINCE2 training in Eindhoven?

The course suits aspiring and practising project managers, project team members, and PMP or CAPM holders working in Eindhoven's high-tech, semiconductor, engineering and consulting employers. Foundation has no prerequisites, so beginners can start too.

Is PRINCE2 recognised by employers in Eindhoven?

Yes. PRINCE2 is recognised globally in over 200 countries and is widely valued across the Netherlands and Europe. Brainport employers such as high-tech manufacturers, semiconductor firms and consultancies favour candidates who can prove a structured project method.

Is PRINCE2 certification worth it for my career?

Yes. Certified project professionals in Eindhoven access roles from project manager to senior PM and PMO lead, with IT project managers averaging around €92,000 and senior roles reaching €119,000. PRINCE2 gives you a recognised, portable credential to support that growth.

How long is the PRINCE2 certification valid?

Both PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner are valid for three years. Foundation is renewed by earning 60 CPD points per cycle, and Practitioner can be renewed by retaking the exam, completing CPD via a MyAxelos subscription, or passing a higher PRINCE2 qualification.

    Pricing

How much does PRINCE2 training cost in Eindhoven?

Training fees vary by format, schedule and whether exam vouchers are bundled. The combined Foundation and Practitioner programme is usually purchased as a training and dual-exam package. For current pricing in euros, request a quote and speak with a learning advisor.

What is included in the PRINCE2 course fee?

The fee typically includes instructor-led training, PRINCE2 7 courseware, practice questions, mock exams and learner support. Accredited packages often include both exam vouchers. Confirm exactly what is bundled when you request your quote.

Are the exam fees included in the training price?

It depends on the package. Many accredited combined courses bundle both the Foundation and Practitioner exam vouchers, while others quote training and exams separately. PeopleCert exam pricing varies by region, so confirm the details before enrolling.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for project teams and PMOs across Eindhoven. Contact us for a tailored group quote.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the PRINCE2 Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam has 60 multiple-choice questions to complete in 60 minutes. It is closed book with a single-answer format, and the pass mark is 60% (36 out of 60). It tests your knowledge and comprehension of the PRINCE2 7 method.

What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam has 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks, completed in 150 minutes. It is open book, with the PRINCE2 Managing Successful Projects manual permitted, and scenario based. The pass mark is 60% (42 out of 70).

What are the prerequisites for the Practitioner exam?

You must hold PRINCE2 Foundation, or an accepted equivalent such as PMP, CAPM or IPMA Level A to D, before sitting Practitioner. Foundation itself has no prerequisites, which is why the combined course lets you complete both levels in sequence.

Where and how do I take the PRINCE2 exams?

Both exams are delivered by PeopleCert, either online via 24/7 proctoring or at an authorised test centre. In the combined programme, Foundation is usually taken after the first stage of training and Practitioner after the second.

What if I do not pass an exam on the first attempt?

You can resit either exam. Our training includes practice questions, mock exams and scenario drills to prepare you thoroughly for both papers. Confirm the current resit policy and fees with PeopleCert, and our team can guide you through rebooking.

    Course Content

What topics does the PRINCE2 training cover?

The training covers the full PRINCE2 7 method: the seven principles, the People capability, the seven practices (business case, organising, plans, quality, risk, issues and progress) and the seven processes, plus tailoring and exam preparation for both levels.

What is new in PRINCE2 7 compared with PRINCE2 6?

PRINCE2 7 (2023) introduces the People capability as a core element, renames Themes to Practices, adds commercial management, and integrates agile and sustainability considerations. The course teaches the current 7th edition method throughout.

Do beginners need prior project experience?

No. PRINCE2 Foundation has no formal prerequisites and is open to all, so beginners can start with confidence. The training builds from core concepts to applied practice, preparing you for both the Foundation and Practitioner exams.

    What learning materials are provided?

You receive PRINCE2 7 courseware aligned to the Managing Successful Projects manual, practice questions, mock exams and scenario exercises. These help you build both the knowledge for Foundation and the applied judgment for Practitioner.

Is the courseware aligned with the latest PRINCE2 syllabus?

Yes. The courseware follows the current PRINCE2 7 Foundation and Practitioner syllabus and the PRINCE2 Managing Successful Projects 7th Edition manual published by PeopleCert and AXELOS.

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete payment and receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. To see upcoming batches, talk to a learning advisor.
