    Is there an exam for this Minitab course?

    No. This is a practical skills course with no examination. Your learning is reinforced through hands-on Minitab exercises throughout the day rather than a formal test, so you build proficiency by doing.

    Will I receive anything on completion?

    Yes. On completing the one-day programme you receive a course completion certificate from Invensis Learning that recognises the Minitab skills you have developed. There is no external credential or awarding body attached to the training.

    How is my learning reinforced during the day?

    Every technique is practised live in Minitab using realistic quality datasets. You follow along as the trainer demonstrates each function, then apply it yourself, so proficiency comes from practice rather than passive observation.

    Will I be able to use Minitab confidently afterwards?

    Yes. By the end you can import and manage data, build quality graphs, run t-tests, ANOVA and chi-square tests, create control charts, report Cp, Cpk, Pp and Ppk, and run regression and Gauge R&R studies. These are skills you can apply at work immediately.

    Does the training prepare me for Six Sigma work?

    Yes. The tools you practise are the ones Six Sigma DMAIC projects use in the Measure and Analyse phases, from control charts and capability studies to hypothesis tests and regression. You leave ready to perform those analyses in Minitab on real improvement projects.

    Course Content

    What topics does the Minitab training cover?

    The programme covers six modules: introduction to Minitab and data management; descriptive statistics and graphical analysis; hypothesis testing; statistical process control; process capability analysis; and regression with measurement system analysis (Gauge R&R).

    How long is the training and how is it delivered?

    It is a one-day, eight-hour programme delivered in live online, in-person classroom or corporate onsite formats. Every module includes hands-on Minitab exercises, so you spend the day working in the software rather than just watching.

    Which statistical tools will I learn to use?

    You will use histograms, boxplots, Pareto and time series plots, t-tests, ANOVA and chi-square tests, I-MR, Xbar-R, P and C control charts, capability analysis and the Capability Sixpack, plus simple and multiple regression and Gauge R&R.

    Do I need to install Minitab before attending?

    Yes. Because the training is hands-on, you should have Minitab statistical software installed and available on your device before the session. Let us know when you enrol and we will confirm the software requirements for your booking.

    Can the training use our own company data?
