    Exam

What is the format of the PRINCE2 exams?

How many questions are on each PRINCE2 exam?

What happens if I don't pass an exam, can I retake it?

Where can I take the PRINCE2 exams?

You can sit both exams online through PeopleCert's OnVUE online proctored system, available 24/7, or at a PeopleCert authorized test center. Both are typically arranged as part of your combined training package.

    Course Content

What topics does the PRINCE2 course cover?

The course covers the seven PRINCE2 principles, the People capability, the seven practices (Business Case, Organizing, Plans, Quality, Risk, Issues, Progress), and the seven processes from Starting Up to Closing a Project, plus tailoring and exam strategy for both levels.

What is new in PRINCE2 7 compared with PRINCE2 6?

PRINCE2 7 (2023) introduces the People capability as a core element, renames Themes to Practices, incorporates commercial management, and integrates agile and sustainability considerations. It also updates the management products used across the method.

Are practice exams and materials included?

Yes. The program includes PRINCE2 7-aligned courseware, practice questions, full-length mock exams, an exam simulator, and topic-wise quizzes to help you find weak areas and build readiness for both exams.

Do I need prior experience to take this course?

No. PRINCE2 Foundation has no formal prerequisites and is open to beginners. The training builds from method fundamentals, so newcomers and experienced project professionals can both succeed. Foundation is required before you sit the Practitioner exam.

How is the combined training structured?

The combined program typically covers Foundation content first, followed by the Foundation exam, then Practitioner content and its exam. Total training time is around 32 hours, delivered over intensive or extended schedules depending on the format you choose.

    Enrollment

What are the eligibility requirements to enroll in PRINCE2 training?

Anyone can enroll in the training. There are no prerequisites for the Foundation exam. To sit the Practitioner exam you must hold PRINCE2 Foundation or an accepted equivalent such as PMP, CAPM, or IPMA Level A/B/C/D.
