How do the Foundation and Practitioner exams differ?

Foundation is closed book and tests knowledge of the PRINCE2 method. Practitioner is open book, using the Managing Successful Projects manual, and tests applying and tailoring PRINCE2 to project scenarios. You must pass both to hold both credentials.

What are the prerequisites for the exams?

Foundation has no prerequisites and is open to all. Practitioner requires PRINCE2 Foundation or an accepted equivalent such as PMP, CAPM or IPMA Level A to D. Verify current accepted equivalents with PeopleCert.
