What happens if I do not pass the PgMP exam the first time?

How many questions are on the PgMP exam and how long is it?

The PgMP exam has 170 multiple-choice questions and a four-hour allotted time. It is closed book and delivered via Pearson VUE, either online proctored or at a test center.

What are the PgMP exam domains and their weights?

The exam covers five performance domains: Strategic Program Management (11%), Program Life Cycle Management (44%), Benefits Management (11%), Stakeholder Engagement (16%) and Governance (18%), based on PMI's PgMP Examination Content Outline.

What is the PgMP panel review?

The panel review is a multi-rater assessment unique to the PgMP. A panel of program management practitioners evaluates your documented program experience. It is a mandatory step alongside the written exam, and both must be passed to earn the credential.

What is the passing score for the PgMP exam?

PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score and does not publish a fixed number. Results are reported as pass or fail with domain-level feedback, so focus on broad mastery across all five performance domains.

Where can I take the PgMP exam in Salt Lake City?

You can take the exam online through Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctoring from home or office, or at a Pearson VUE test center. Scheduling is done through PMI's portal or the Pearson VUE website within your eligibility window.

Yes. The program includes 1000+ practice questions, full-length mock exams, an exam simulator and topic-wise quizzes to help you identify weak areas and build readiness for the 170-question exam.

How many contact hours does the PgMP training provide?

The instructor-led program provides 24 contact hours. PgMP has no mandatory contact-hour prerequisite, so these hours serve as focused exam preparation and knowledge consolidation for experienced candidates.

Will I receive a certificate of completion after the training?

Yes. After meeting the course requirements you receive a course completion certificate along with the contact hours earned through the program, which support your PgMP preparation.
