What is the PgMP certification and who is it for?

Is the PgMP worth it for program managers in Detroit?

How many questions are on the PgMP exam and how long is it?

The PgMP exam has 170 questions and an allotted time of four hours. It is delivered online through Pearson VUE OnVUE proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test center.

What is the PgMP panel review?

The panel review is a multi-rater assessment unique to PgMP. A panel of program management practitioners evaluates your documented program experience. It is mandatory in addition to the written exam, and both must be passed to earn the credential.

What is the passing score for the PgMP exam?

PMI does not publish a fixed pass mark. The result is determined through psychometric analysis, with domain-level feedback reported as Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement. Aim for broad mastery across all five domains.

What if I do not pass the exam the first time?

PMI allows up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period from application approval. Reexamination fees apply to later attempts. Our practice questions, mock exams and instructor support are designed to build your readiness.

The training covers the five PgMP performance domains: Strategic Program Management (11%), Program Life Cycle Management (44%), Benefits Management (11%), Stakeholder Engagement (16%) and Governance (18%), plus application and exam strategy.

The course is aligned to the PgMP Examination Content Outline and The Standard for Program Management, 4th Edition, from PMI. This keeps your preparation matched to what the current exam actually assesses.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The program includes scenario-based practice questions, full-length mock exams and topic-wise quizzes mapped to the PgMP ECO, so you can identify weak areas and build exam readiness across all five domains.

Can I get help with the PgMP application?

What are the eligibility requirements for the PgMP?

PgMP has three eligibility sets. With a four-year degree you need 48 months of project management experience or an active PMP, plus 48 months of program management experience within the last 15 years. A secondary degree raises the program requirement to 84 months.
