What are the PgMP exam domains and their weights?

There are five performance domains: Strategic Program Management (11%), Program Life Cycle Management (44%), Benefits Management (11%), Stakeholder Engagement (16%), and Governance (18%).

What is the PgMP panel review?

The panel review is a multi-rater assessment unique to the PgMP. A panel of program management practitioners evaluates your documented program experience. It is a mandatory step in addition to the written exam, and both must be passed to earn the credential.

What is the passing score for the PgMP exam?

PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score that is not published as a fixed number. Results are reported as pass or fail with domain-level feedback of Above Target, Target, Below Target, or Needs Improvement, so aim for broad mastery across all five domains.

What happens if I do not pass, can I retake it?

Yes. PMI permits up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period from the date of application approval. Reexamination fees apply to later attempts, so confirm the current amounts on the PMI store.
