What if I do not pass the PgMP exam the first time?

How many questions are on the PgMP exam and how long is it?

The PgMP exam has 170 questions and a four-hour (240-minute) allotted time. It is closed book, with single-answer and multiple-answer multiple-choice questions.

What is the PgMP panel review?

The panel review is a multi-rater assessment unique to the PgMP. A panel of program management practitioners evaluates your documented program experience. Both the panel review and the written exam must be passed to earn the credential.

What is the passing score for the PgMP exam?

PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing standard rather than a fixed percentage. Results are reported as Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement by domain, so aim for broad mastery across all five domains.

Where can I take the PgMP exam?

You can sit the exam online via Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test center, including locations serving the Raleigh area. Scheduling is done through PMI's portal or Pearson VUE after your application is approved.
