What Is Driving PgMP Demand Across Colorado Springs

    Program Governance Gap

Colorado Springs contractors run hundreds of concurrent defense and space projects, yet many lack a strategy-aligned program governance layer, the exact gap PgMP is built to close.

PgMP builds strategic alignment and governance skills

    Space Force Program Scale-Up

Schriever's new operations facility and roughly 2,500 civilian jobs demand program-grade coordination, benefits management and governance across many related projects.

PgMP builds program life cycle and benefits skills

    Clearance-Constrained Talent

With TS/SCI clearances taking about 14 months, employers compete for a fixed pool of senior leaders, making credentialed program managers rare and highly valued.

PgMP makes certified program leaders stand out

    Missile Defense Complexity

The Missile Defense Agency's $10.4 billion FY2026 request funds complex, multi-project programs that need portfolio-grade risk aggregation and cross-program coordination.

PgMP builds program risk and coordination skills

    Strategy-Execution Disconnect

Boards fund large modernization and capital programs, but weak links between strategy and the funded project mix cause value leakage that program leaders are hired to fix.

    PgMP builds benefits realization skills

    Program Talent Scarcity

The region is deep in PMP project managers but thin in credentialed program managers. PgMP's advanced eligibility and panel review make holders scarce and sought-after.
