How many questions are on the PgMP exam and how long is it?

What is the PgMP panel review?

The panel review is a multi-rater assessment unique to the PgMP. A panel of program management practitioners evaluates your documented program experience. You must pass both the panel review and the written exam to earn the credential.

What is the passing score for the PgMP exam?

PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score and does not publish a fixed number. Results are reported by domain as Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement, so aim for broad mastery across all five domains.

How many attempts do I get, and what standard is the exam based on?

You get up to three attempts within a one-year eligibility window from application approval. The exam follows the PgMP Examination Content Outline and PMI's The Standard for Program Management, Fourth Edition.

What topics does the PgMP training cover?

The training covers all five performance domains plus application and exam strategy, from strategic program management and the program life cycle through benefits, stakeholders and governance, aligned to the 4th edition standard.

Do I need prior experience to benefit from the training?

The training suits experienced practitioners. Anyone can attend, but the PgMP exam requires substantial program management experience. Trainers help you map your experience to the ECO and the PMI application.

What learning materials are provided?

You receive PMI-aligned courseware, references to the PgMP ECO and Handbook, a Standard for Program Management overview, templates, practice questions and topic-wise quizzes to support your preparation.

Are mock exams and practice questions included?

Yes. The program includes practice questions and full-length mock exams aligned to the 170-question, four-hour format, helping you identify weak areas and build exam readiness.

Is the courseware aligned with the current PgMP standard?
