What is PgMP and who is it for?

Is the PgMP worth it for professionals in Minneapolis?

How long is the PgMP valid?

PgMP is valid for three years. To maintain it, you earn 60 PDUs across the PMI Talent Triangle, at least 8 in each area, within each three-year continuing certification requirements (CCR) cycle.

What is included in the PgMP training fee?

The training fee includes PMI-aligned courseware, practice questions, mock exams, exam simulator access, templates, and application and panel-review support, plus a completion certificate with contact hours. The PMI exam fee is billed separately. Request a quote for current pricing.

How much does the PgMP exam cost?

For reference, PMI charges about USD 800 for members and USD 1,000 for non-members; verify current fees at pmi.org. PMI membership, about USD 139 per year, lowers the exam fee and gives free access to The Standard for Program Management.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts?

Is the exam fee included in the training price?

How many questions are on the PgMP exam?

The PgMP exam has 170 questions and a four-hour (240-minute) time limit. It is closed book and uses multiple-choice formats delivered via Pearson VUE.

What are the PgMP exam domains and weights?

Five performance domains: Strategic Program Management (11%), Program Life Cycle Management (44%), Benefits Management (11%), Stakeholder Engagement (16%) and Governance (18%), based on the PgMP Examination Content Outline.

What standard is the PgMP exam based on?

The exam aligns to PMI's PgMP Examination Content Outline and The Standard for Program Management, Fourth Edition. Our courseware follows the same current 4th edition standard.

What is the PgMP panel review?

The panel review is a multi-rater assessment unique to PgMP. A panel of program management practitioners evaluates your documented experience. You must pass both the panel review and the written exam to earn the credential.

What if I do not pass the exam?

PMI allows up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period. Re-examination fees apply to the second and third attempts, and our prep and mock exams are designed to build readiness before your first attempt.

Where can I take the PgMP exam?

Online through Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test center, including centers in and around Minneapolis. You schedule within your one-year eligibility window.

Course Content

What topics does the PgMP training cover?

The training covers all five PgMP domains: strategic program management, program life cycle management, benefits management, stakeholder engagement and governance, plus application and panel-review preparation and exam strategy.

How many hours is the PgMP training?

The instructor-led program provides 24 contact hours of training, delivered as an intensive schedule or spread over several days. It focuses on exam readiness and consolidating your program management knowledge.

Is the courseware aligned to the latest standard?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to PMI's Standard for Program Management, Fourth Edition, and the current PgMP Examination Content Outline.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The program includes practice questions, full-length mock exams and an exam simulator mapped to the 170-question format, plus quizzes to help you find and close weak areas.

Do I need prior experience to benefit from the training?

The training is built for experienced practitioners, since PgMP eligibility requires substantial project and program management experience. If you already meet PMI's experience thresholds, the course prepares you for the application and exam.

How do I enroll in the PgMP course?

What are the eligibility requirements for PgMP?

PMI offers three eligibility sets based on your education and experience. With a secondary diploma: 48 months of project management experience or an active PMP, plus 84 months of program management experience. With a bachelor's degree: the same PM requirement plus 48 months of program experience, all within the past 15 years.

What training formats are available?
