What Is Fuelling Demand for Process Improvement in Tunis

Quality Pressure from EU Supply Chains

Tunisian exporters supplying European automotive and aerospace customers must meet strict defect and traceability standards, so manufacturers need Green Belts who can hold processes to those tolerances.

The Green Belt builds defect-reduction skills

Defect and Waste Costs in Manufacturing

With margins tight across 260+ automotive component firms, scrap, rework and downtime erode competitiveness. DMAIC-trained professionals are hired to cut these losses systematically.

The Green Belt builds waste-reduction skills

    Shortage of Process Improvement Talent

Tunisia has a deep general engineering pool but far fewer certified Lean Six Sigma practitioners, making credentialed Green Belts scarce and sought-after by plants and service centres.

The Green Belt makes certified talent stand out

    Scaling Operational Excellence

As multinationals expand sites around Greater Tunis and El Ghazala, they need standardised improvement methods, and Green Belts supply the shared DMAIC framework to scale quality.

The Green Belt provides a common DMAIC method

    Exam

What is the format of the IASSC Green Belt exam?

The ICGB exam is a closed-book test of multiple-choice and true or false questions, delivered online with proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre. Questions are spread roughly evenly across the five DMAIC phases.

How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

The exam has 100 questions and a three-hour allotted time. Some exam forms include up to 10 additional unscored pretest questions that do not count toward your result.

What is the passing score for the ICGB exam?

You need a minimum of 385 points out of 550 to pass. Because questions are spread across all five DMAIC phases, the best preparation is broad mastery rather than focusing on a single area.

Are there any prerequisites to sit the exam?

No. IASSC sets no formal prerequisites for the Green Belt exam. Training and real-world project experience are recommended but not mandatory, which is why structured preparation helps.

What happens if I do not pass the first time?

You can retake the exam by purchasing another voucher. Our training includes practice questions and mock exams so you can identify weak areas and build readiness before your attempt. Selected plans add retake support.

    Course Content

What topics does the Green Belt training cover?

The training covers all five DMAIC phases: Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control. You learn core statistics, hypothesis testing, basic regression, designed experiments, and Lean tools such as 5S, value stream mapping and SPC.

Do I need prior experience or statistics knowledge?

No prior experience is required. The programme builds the statistical concepts step by step, with worked examples and practice, so beginners and experienced practitioners alike can follow and apply the DMAIC method.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions and full-length mock exams mapped to the IASSC Green Belt Body of Knowledge, helping you gauge readiness and target revision before the ICGB exam.

Is the courseware aligned to the IASSC syllabus?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the IASSC Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Body of Knowledge, which structures the content across the five DMAIC phases that the exam tests.

Will I receive a certificate after the training?

Yes. You receive a course completion certificate once you meet the course requirements. The IASSC Green Belt credential itself is awarded separately by IASSC after you pass the ICGB exam.
