Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

Yes. As Trinidad and Tobago drives public sector digital transformation and economic diversification, employers in energy, banking and government need professionals who can lead the people side of change. Certified change practitioners remain scarce locally, so the credential strengthens your career prospects and earning potential.

    General

Is the Change Management certification worth it in Trinidad and Tobago?

Yes. As Trinidad and Tobago drives public sector digital transformation and economic diversification, employers in energy, banking and government need professionals who can lead the people side of change. Certified change practitioners remain scarce locally, so the credential strengthens your career prospects and earning potential.

What is the Change Management Foundation and Practitioner certification?

It is a two-level credential covering the knowledge, models and practices needed to manage the people and culture side of organisational change. Foundation validates your understanding of change concepts; Practitioner validates your ability to apply them to real scenarios. It is grounded in the CMBoK from the Change Management Institute.

Who should take this change management course?

It suits project and programme managers, HR business partners, OD practitioners, consultants and leaders who sponsor or support change. There are no formal prerequisites for Foundation, so it is open to professionals at any career stage across Trinidad and Tobago.

Do I need prior experience to start?

No. Change Management Foundation has no formal prerequisites and is open to all, regardless of education or prior change experience. The training builds your knowledge from the ground up before moving into applied Practitioner-level practice.

How long are the certifications valid?

Validity and any renewal requirements are confirmed at enrolment. The knowledge and models you gain, such as ADKAR, Kotter and stakeholder engagement, remain directly applicable to real change work throughout your career.

    Pricing

How much does change management training cost in Trinidad and Tobago?

Fees vary by delivery format and whether exam vouchers are bundled, so the current price is available on request in local terms. The package typically includes courseware, mock exams and support for both levels. Request a quote for the latest pricing.

What is included in the course fee?

The training fee typically includes instructor-led sessions for both levels, change management aligned courseware, industry case studies, practice questions and mock exams, and dedicated learner support. Confirm whether Foundation and Practitioner exam vouchers are included when you enrol.

Are the exam fees included in the training price?

Exam voucher inclusion varies by package. Some options bundle both the Foundation and Practitioner exam vouchers, while others quote them separately. Speak with a learning advisor to confirm what your chosen package covers.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for PMOs, HR functions and leadership teams across Trinidad and Tobago. Contact us for a tailored group quote.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major cards and bank transfers, and instalment options are available on selected plans. Talk to a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam has 50 multiple-choice questions in a single-answer format, is closed book, and lasts 40 minutes. The pass mark is 50 per cent, which is 25 correct answers out of 50. It is typically taken at the end of the Foundation portion of the training.

What is the format of the Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam is open book, using the Change Management Practitioner Guide. It has 5 scenario-based sections worth 16 marks each, 80 marks in total, and lasts 2.5 hours. The pass mark is 50 per cent, which is 40 out of 80 marks.

How many exams are there and in what order?

There are two separate exams. You sit and pass the closed-book Foundation exam first, then the open-book, scenario-based Practitioner exam. Both must be passed to hold both credentials, and the combined programme prepares you for each in sequence.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

The Change Management Practitioner Guide is permitted during the exam. However, the scenario-based questions require analysis and judgment, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient guide navigation and deep understanding of the models are both essential.

What if I do not pass an exam on the first attempt?

You can re-sit the exam under the applicable re-sit policy. Our training includes mock exams, practice questions and first-attempt guidance for both levels to help you prepare thoroughly. Confirm current re-sit terms with our team before booking.

    Course Content

What topics are covered in the change management syllabus?

The syllabus spans five areas: Change and the Individual, Change and the Organisation, Communication and Stakeholder Engagement, Change Practice, and Personal and Professional Management. Foundation covers them at knowledge level and Practitioner at application level.

Which change management models will I learn?

You will study a broad set of models, including ADKAR, Bridges' Transition Model, Lewin's Three-Step Model, Kotter's 8-Step Model, the McKinsey 7-S Framework, Schein's culture model, Goleman's emotional intelligence and Cialdini's principles of influence.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions and mock exams for both the Foundation and Practitioner levels, plus scenario-based exercises so you can identify weak areas and build exam readiness.

Is the courseware aligned with the current syllabus?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the current Change Management Foundation and Practitioner exam syllabi and the Change Management Practitioner Guide, and it draws on the CMBoK maintained by the Change Management Institute.

How long is the training and what does a week look like?

The combined programme is 40 hours of instructor-led learning, typically covering Foundation content first and then Practitioner content. Schedules run as full-day intensive or extended formats, so you can pick a pace that fits your work commitments.

    Enrollment

How soon can I start and how do I enrol?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website or with a learning advisor. Choose your format, complete payment, and you receive access to schedules and learning resources. See upcoming batches to pick a start date that suits you.

    What training formats are available?

We offer live virtual (online) instructor-led training, classroom sessions, and customised corporate group training for teams across Trinidad and Tobago, so you can choose the format that fits your schedule and learning preference.
