    What is the format of the Black Belt exam?

    The exam is a closed-book test of 150 multiple-choice questions to be completed in four hours. It is based on the IASSC Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Body of Knowledge and a reference document of formulas and tables is provided during the exam.

    How many questions are on the exam and what is the passing score?

    There are 150 scored multiple-choice questions, with up to 15 additional unscored questions on some forms. The minimum passing score is 580 points out of 750 points, so aim for broad mastery across all five DMAIC phases.

    What is the exam application process?
