    The PMI-CP exam has 120 questions and a duration of 230 minutes (3 hours 50 minutes). It is closed book, with single-answer and multiple-answer multiple-choice questions.

    What domains does the PMI-CP exam cover?

    The exam covers four domains from the PMI-CP Examination Content Outline: Contracts Management (50%), Stakeholder Engagement (30%), Strategy and Scope Management (15%) and Project Governance (5%).

    What is the passing score for the PMI-CP exam?

    PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score that is not published as a fixed number. Results are reported as pass or fail with domain-level feedback of Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement, so aim for broad mastery across all four domains.

    Where and how do I take the PMI-CP exam?

    You can take the exam online through Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test center. Scheduling is done through Pearson VUE or the PMI portal within your one-year eligibility period.
