What Is Six Sigma Awareness and Who Is It For?UntitledYour Entry Point into Process Improvement
Six Sigma Awareness Training in India is a one-day introductory course that explains what Six Sigma is, why organisations use it, and how you can support improvement work in your own role. You learn the Six Sigma philosophy, the DMAIC methodology (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve, Control) and the everyday language of quality, from defects and variation to the goal of fewer than 3.4 defects per million opportunities. First developed at Motorola in the 1980s and made famous by GE, Six Sigma is now applied across Indian manufacturing, IT services, global capability centres, BFSI and healthcare. This awareness course is designed for employees, managers and leaders who work alongside Green Belts and Black Belts but do not need to become practitioners themselves. There is no formal assessment and no prior quality knowledge is required. By the end of the day you can take part in improvement discussions, follow DMAIC projects with understanding and contribute to a stronger quality culture at work.
